Trump Attacks Steve Schmidt: He 'Failed With John McCain'

President Donald Trump is going after MSNBC political analyst Steve Schmidt .
In a Wednesday morning tweet, the president took aim at Schmidt — who ran John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign — in defense of Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), whom Schmidt bashed as a "five-star fool." Trump made his crack in response to a tweet from Gray Television syndicated host Greta Van Susteren , who asked Schmidt "Why are you so rude?"
"Because I've beaten him and his very few remaining clients so much, and so badly, that he has become a blathering idiot," Trump wrote. "He failed with John McCain and will fail again with all others. He is a total loser. @MarshaBlackburn is a Tennessee Star, a highly respected WINNER!"

Schmidt is part of The Lincoln Project — a group of former Republicans who have banded together to oppose the president and his political allies. The Lincoln Project has dropped millions in ad buys in an effort to defeat Trump and Senators such as Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and others close to the president. The group has drawn the president's ire with several ads that have gone viral for their brutal mockery of Trump.

Steve Schmidt is a patriotic conservative. His sharp intellect can filet Trump's ignorant rants with the precision of a brain surgeon.
That is feint praise based on nothing. The President has come to the defense of a Conservative woman who was smeared. Basically that is all your seed says.
Marsha Blackburn is a tea party Trump toady. Schmidt was spot on. The only advantage Trump has over Schmidt is that he has a bigger platform. Intellect-wise they are not even in the same galaxy.

It's been weird, have a good one.
I remember reading a couple years ago that , by at that time, Trump had attacked hundreds of individuals with insults and name calling on twitter and in speeches and interviews. . I wouldn't be surprised if the figure is a thousand by now.
How you claim that Trump is doing good by defending Blackburn, a Trump loyalist, is a total mystery.
Using your logic, everyone who attacks Trump for name calling is doing God's work.

Let Trump go after Schmidt...... It will give the Lincoln project just that much more material to use in their next set of ads that will will continue to show how unfit Trump is to be president.
What's the spread now, 15 points in PA, MI, and Wi? Arizona at 8 points? Let's keep our eyes on Florida, Ohio, and Iowa as Trump's numbers there seem to be going south too.

Steve Schmidt could (and has) eviscerate Trump with his comments. Trump should probably find someone else to try and pick on.
