I've heard some similar defense of Trump coming from conservatives right here on NT. This perfectly sums up Trumps base of voters. Are there a handful of better educated Trump supporters who know Trump is an idiot but are just in it for the perks like conservative judges and tax cuts for the wealthy? Of course, but they're not your every day run of the mill Trump supporter attending these rallies, especially not now with the pandemic, they're far smarter than that, they just use the ignorant base and cheer them on just like Trump does. No doubt they figure if these chumps are dumb enough to fall for this snake oil salesman act, they deserve to get screwed over.
I was recently told about a NT member who fits that category. This member doesn’t care about the chaos because their already fat bank account got fatter with this administration. What a patriot, huh? Also when Jordan talked to someone about mail in votes, someone said they didn't support it. Jordan told him that tRump is a mail in voter and the guy was dumbfounded. Someone in the crowd yelled out 'that's different'
