... according to insiders, [Trump] is actually already considering his career post-White House and plotting to launch a new right-wing news channel as part of a bid to "wreck" Fox in revenge for its being insufficiently loyal to his cause.

This is believable.   I can easily see Trump lashing out emotionally.   This smells right for two key reasons:

  1. It is always about him; this would be a way for him to stroke his celebrity now that he will lose the bully pulpit.
  2. He uses people and then cavalierly discards them.   In this case Fox was great until they dared to not lie about his reelection.

He is predictable and this is something I can see Trump doing (until it files for bankruptcy).

Donald Trump's presidency is one day closer to an end despite his continued misinformation and grievances about the Democratic electoral process, as reports indicate he was considering launching a streaming network to rival Fox News amid a wave of lies about unfounded voter fraud conspiracies.

The president has still yet to produce any meaningful evidence to support his claims and, according to insiders, is actually already considering his career post-White House and plotting to launch a new right-wing news channel as part of a bid to "wreck" Fox in revenge for its being insufficiently loyal to his cause.

While Mr Trump continues to undermine democratic values and institutions and Mr Biden ignores him and calmly prepares for power, the US once again broke its record for new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, with at least 140,543 recorded in one day, according to Johns Hopkins University.

I’m sure that whether he starts something new or takes over OANN that MBFC will rate in questionable simply because he’s part of it.

He tweets about his loss, and Fox while a thousand people die a day as if he was not the president. And then he wonders why he lost.

Now he tries to tear this country apart.

Wednesday virus record has been broken today. 161,000 and 1190 deaths. Utah has no ICU beds left, South Dakota as a positivity rate of over 54%. But not to worry our War Time leader, General Bone Spur is hiding out in the bunker tweeting about being cheated out of an election.

He has totally abdicated the presidency. What a loser.

I am thinking, he never really had it.

The USS Trumptanic is going down fast by her bow but her Captain is sitting on his ample behind in the state dining room eating his quarter pounder with cheese while still insisting that she is unsinkable...

Why some continue to coddle him I don't understand.

Some are more worried about their own status and staying in his good graces than about what is best for the country.

And even here we have some insisting that this election is not over.   I find that to be 'odd' (euphemistically speaking).
