Super Bowl Predictions

Who do you like in the big game?

The Tampa Bay Bucs are the first team in the 55 year history of the Super Bowl to get to play the game on their home field. They are led by the so called GOAT (greatest of all time) quarterback, Tom Brady.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending champions and are led by the current phenom , considered by many to be the most talented QB of them all, Patrick Mahomes.

The Bucs may be the most talented offense Brady has ever played with. I have to believe that will have the deciding effect on this game.

On the other hand this could be a game where the team who has the ball last wins.

Tampa Bay 34-31.

Living in Denver, will have to go with the Chiefs.

If Mahomes is healthy, KC should prevail, since Brady has slowed a step or two.

Kansas City Chiefs win 38-35. Should be a fun game to watch

Glad to see Peyton Manning's induction into the football HOF.

I'm hoping for Tom Brady, but my prediction is this game goes over the O/U line of 56 points.

I'm betting a teaser taking TB + 9 with the over of 50

I really think this one is going to come down to the KC defense. Tampa is solid on both sides of the ball and I am sure they will show that again today, and while KC's offensive is fantastic, their defense can be spotty. I feel like this is going to be a game that depends on which d causes the first turnover, but I am leaning KC by a touchdown.

Welp. don't I look like an asshole lol.

I was right though, the game was going to come down to the KC defense, and they sure made Brady look like the GOAT

Pretty sure the KC D isn't even trying at this point.

Well that's it. The KC was the deciding factor like I said, and they shit the bed in historic fashion.

Kinda pathetic at this point.

It is like, let's just give Brady one more ring...

Ok, I feel bad for Mahomes. He has no protection and is just looking terrible.

Even limping around, kinda beat up.

He will be playing for at least a decade past Brady's retirement.

Brady is done.

Thinks he can be a coach.........

He wasn't at his best, and he didn't have his 2 best tackles, but still...

You gotta do more with fucking Travis Kelce, and Tyreek Hilll. 9 points (and not winning) all game? Dude...

Agreed.   Even the halftime show sucked (well, relative to Superbowl standards)

I read that The Weekend's song lyrics are often for adults only.  I could never tell by tonight because I literally could not understand a word he was singing.

The NFL has to do better with the halftime.

Halfway through the halftime show I was begging for Coldplay to come back.  And maybe I’m just getting old or something but I’d never heard of a lot of the companies in the commercials, and the commercials gave no clue as to what the company sells.  Did you catch that even Reddit had a five second spot?  Between all that, the cardboard cutout fans, and Mahomes throwing spastic balls in the last split second that didn’t even spiral, the whole event was a bit surreal for a Super Bowl.

The volume on his mic (or sync) was too low.   But the bigger problem is that a Superbowl halftime show is supposed to be magnificent theatrics.   Having a lot of people doing simple moves with fireworks with the whole show being pretty much TW singing a series of songs did not cut it.   Great for a concert, but the Superbowl show is supposed to be much better than a concert.

More importantly, what a shame that we did not get to see the KC Chiefs play football today.

I thought the Jimmy Johns commercial with the Mafia overtones was the best. I actually laughed two or three times. The actor Brad Garrett might have a future playing a wiseguy in a movie or two.

That was a funny one, even though I don’t care for Jimmy Johns food.  Paul Rudd as Mahomes stand-in dropping the football and Drake from State Farm was funny too.

It was very great for the TB owner to mention the health care workers first and call them the real heroes when he spoke after the game.  Very nice.

In retrospect, this wasnt that hard to predict.  Tampa has better offensive players than Brady ever had at New England. It just took them time to gel .

Who would have thought that one injury on the KC offensive line would have wreaked such havoc on this game? Mahomes was running for his life all night because his protection broke down constantly.

2 injuries, the KC o line was without either of their tackles, and it showed. But still, we expexcted more out of mahomes... and that is probably our fault. Imposible expectations.

This sorry exhibition is the reason I no longer watch the games live, but record them on the DVR.
