Already buffeted by a massive $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems over his claims that the company helped Joe Biden steal the 2020 presidential election, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani has new legal problems as the US Attorney's office for the South District of New York is re-upping an investigation into his foreign dealings.
According to a report from Yahoo News, the investigation into Giuliani's Ukraine work for Donald Trump in an attempt to dig up dirt on now-President Joe Biden had been sitting dormant but now is being re-activated.
At issue is whether Giuliani, in his capacity working for the ex-president, registered as a foreign agent.
"A transcript surfaced last month of a 40-minute phone call between Giuliani and two Ukrainian officials in which he allegedly pressured them to investigate the Biden family, reported Time magazine," Yahoo reports. "The investigation into Giuliani's Ukraine dealings temporarily reached a halt last year after Justice Department officials attempted to block a search warrant of the former mayor's digital records, The New York Times reported."
According to former federal prosecutor Kenneth F. McCallion, now the "dust has settled" after the 2020 election, the investigation is now resuming.
"Giuliani is currently facing a number of legal challenges linked to his baseless claims of voter fraud during the presidential election. On Friday, Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell filed a federal lawsuit against Trump, Giuliani, and GOP Rep. Mo Brooks," the report adds.

Couldn't happen to a nicer POS. I went to grab a screen shot of his account since he blocked me but....his account on Twitter is suspended.
Yep, he pushed the Hunter Biden hoax for YEARS and never once offered up even a shred of proof of any of it. All just, "I got some new evidence!!!!", but he would never share any of it. Almost like he never had anything to start with... Oh wait..
Remember the Turkish guy living in the Poconos that Flynn was thinking about kidnapping and sending to Erdogan for a specified amount of 'laundered cash?' Wonder if Rudy was involved with the legal ends concerning the payments?
Has the DOJ forgotten about that too?
I have nothing against Giuliani personally but the nation needs to do something to stop people from engaging in dishonest abuses of our system for personal gain. Especially when if makes the entire nation look ridiculous, increases the already absurd level of divisiveness, encourages bad behavior and wastes time and money.
Does that include the Biden family
Are you actually comparing the outrageous behavior of Trump, Giuliani, et. al. for two months after the election when they tried to defraud the nation to Hunter Biden? Do you not see a difference in scale and mode here?
Compare Hunter Biden to Trump's kids. Trump/Giuliani's actions set a new bar for outrageous and damaging behavior for a losing presidential candidate. You get that, right?
And what about the Biden family, Greg?
Hell with that, why does Greg deflect from Giuliani? Does he actually approve of what Giuliani did after Trump lost the election??

I agree. His actions furthered a horrible precedent at an international level (abuse of the legal system).
