US: Dominion Voting sues Fox News for defamation

Dominion Voting Systems has filed a $1.6bn defamation lawsuit against Fox News, arguing the United States cable news giant falsely claimed in an effort to boost faltering ratings that the voting company had rigged the 2020 presidential election.
It is the first defamation suit filed against a media outlet by the voting company, which was a target of misleading, false and bizarre claims spread by former President Donald Trump and his allies in the aftermath of Trump’s election loss to President Joe Biden.

you know rupert's attorneys are scrambling to seek a settlement, and if dominion's lawyers are worth their salt, that settlement will include the broadcast of public disclaimers before, during and after each of the FOX news shows reminding viewers of their lack of credibility and what FOX thinks of their viewers that believe anything they broadcast, for the next 10 years.

Powel threw everyone under the bus by admitting she lied. Everyone who filed suits against Dominion should save themselves the legal fees and just pay up.
Though she didn't just admit that she lied. She insisted that 'no reasonable person' would believe her lies. Which means that all those that did, including those here at NT, aren't 'reasonable'. But of course those that didn't already knew that...
