two and a half hours of fox news
a half dozen commercials for My Pillow featuring Mike Lindell

i had fox news on for 2 1/2 hours straight this morning

the show was weekend fox and friends

the hosts were Will Cain, Rachel Campos-Duffy, and Lawrence Jones.

here were their topics for news and banter

======================================

a group of mothers in some red state oppose mask mandates in schools

-

support for the canadian truckers who oppose mask mandates

-

a 13 year old boy who was told by a substitute teacher that the boys "thin blue line" flag face mask was un American

-

the three hosts complaining about "communist China" they literally said the word "communist" China about 10 times in a couple minutes of banter

-

a story about a Dutch reporter being harrassed by Chinese security at the Olympics

-

a segment making fun of AOC for something or other

-

an interview with a black conservative legislator saying he is not being allowed into the Black Caucus in his state

-

complaints from the hosts about Biden

-

an interview with an ex military person who said the US has no interest in defending Ukraine

-

complaints from the hosts about US energy policy

-

a half dozen commercials for My Pillow featuring Mike Lindell

-

===================================================================

What was not mentioned, even for two seconds, was the Republicans voting to censure Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger for taking part in the Jan 6th investigation, or Mike Pence saying yesterday that Trump was wrong about Pences ability to overturn th election in 2020.

There was not one word in 2 1/2 hours on Fox News this morning to indicate that there even is an investigation into the Capitol riot/insurrection.

Probably because it's an old stale story that few give a shit about

It is funny that CNN and MSNBC spend about 20 hours a day trying to convince people that we were on the verge of losing our democracy.  Really funny that the only people that watch already agree with the premise so they are getting no new converts but more and more people are tuning them out just because they are so boring.

He pays them so he can run the commercials.  It is called capitalism.  People can decide if they want to buy something from him but it is nice that he is not being silenced because he is a bit of a wing nut like the other networks seem to be doing.  I would rather have the choice if I want to buy from him than have the choice taken away from me.

I am being charitable.  He has been through alot in his life, he is lucky to be alive.  Still doesn't change the fact I would rather have the choice to buy or not buy from him than have the choice taken away because some networks will not air his commercials so they can virtue signal to the world.

I don't consider fox and friends a news show as much as an opinionated talk show, but since I don't watch it I can't be sure.  As a matter of fact I see only one show on fox as a news show.  That is one more than MSNBC and CNN though,  There is a decent site that has how the left and right cover the same story and shows some stories that only seem to be covered by one side,  It is called ground news.  Interesting that sometimes if you read the coverage of both sides it is hard to believe they are talking about the same event.  It would also be interesting to see how many of the stories mentioned above were even covered on CNN or MSNBC.

Fox and Friends is a show designed to compete against other morning shows like Good Morning America on ABC and The Today Show on NBC and does quite well.

Fox News ...... watch it if you want to see news that won’t be reported on the rest of the mass media propaganda spin cycle.

Real journalism is almost dead here now ......

CNN has an employment revolving door going right now.    Won’t work though, their viewership will continue to tank because of the hateful, narrow minded product they put out each day.

It is a joy to watch.  I am waiting for the "reliable sources " guy to go.  He is an embarrassment, even for CNN.  I think they are also losing viewers because they are so boring.  It is like watching a soap opera, you can tune out for a week and when you tune back in they are still talking about the same thing, you haven't missed a thing.

The pillow fucker, Mike Lindell funneled $50 million into Fox Noise last year.

Then he got pissed at Fox and pulled his ads.

Butt, apparently his sales plummeted, so he's advertising on Fox again.

As always, it is very amusing to see people who STILL swallow the swill fed to them by the Democratic Party.

Your scenario only works when one refuses to acknowledge reality and pretend that Democrats weren't winning in the South well into the 1990's and ignore that Carter, Clinton, Obama, and Biden all won Southern states.

I could care less what he does or doesn’t do.   None of my business and It doesn’t affect me one way or another. You see, unlike some here, I’m not triggered by such things.

Oh and by the way .... it’s none of your business either.

*Fox News host  Rachel Campos-Duffy  — yes,  that  Rachel Campos from “Real World 3: San Francisco” – blamed potential Republican losses in the Georgia runoff races on “the African American culture” being “captured by the left.”

“And the African-American culture has been captured by the left,” Campos-Duffy added, “whether it’s sports, media, their leaders. I mean, to the point where you have a pastor — a pastor, a Christian pastor — who unabashedly announces that he is pro-abortion.”

Campos-Duffy claimed that the state of African-American politics “is a very serious problem.”

“Make no mistake, Sandra, last night on the ballot, socialism was on the ticket and socialism won,” she remarked. “And if socialism can win in deep-South Georgia, socialism can win anywhere!”

“This is a massive wakeup call to conservatives, to Republicans, that it is — we’re going to lose our country and our values if we don’t engage in this culture war,” Campos-Duffy insisted. “Our ideas are not passed on in the bloodstream to our children, they are taught.”

She revealed that she was “trying not to be too dramatic about this.”

“But I really do think that so much is at stake,” she concluded. “The African-American vote was so important. As I mentioned before, they were captured. As you look at this Hispanic vote, not as susceptible to socialism.”

Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy   asserted on Wednesday night that Native Americans’ struggles have “everything to do with government dependency” and “alcoholism.”

Her colleague   Jesse Watters , meanwhile, groused that liberals are just trying to “make them out to be victims” and will attempt to “send more slush funds to the reservations.”

.

“Christopher Columbus, by the way, is the first victim of cancel culture,” Campos-Duffy grumbled, adding that Native Americans “were just as brutal” as Columbus and other European colonizers.

.

“They burned villages, raped women, seized children, took the people they defeated, took their land, scalped people,” the ex-Republican congressman said. “It was a horrible time all across the globe. But they want to apply the ‘woke’ standard that they have today on Christopher Columbus, but nobody else in the world!”

Duffy also alleged that criticizing Columbus was part of a liberal plot to “get the American people to actually hate our founding” so that they “can seep in their socialism and remake this country into something of a Venezuelan failed state.”

Um..hello? The Native Americans did commit those acts against each other. No different than what happened in Europe throughout the ages. Fighting for territory and resources.

Did the NAs commit terrible acts against the European colonists? Yes...but who started it?

Do believe Campos-Dummy needs to actually learn her history.  Just as brutal???  How 'bout showing us how we killed/massacred/annihilated over 80M of the original inhabitants because "they aren't using their lands and we can do it better.", or "You don't believe in MY God - you're dead meat.", or "You're gonna learn to be white and this school is gonna make you white trash."

I’m confused why the pillow dumbass needs to advertise anywhere?  Is there anyone left in this country not familiar with his product and infamy?  There can’t be anyone left in this country that wouldn’t normally buy a pillow from this douche but changed their mind when they saw one of his horrible commercials.  Everyone who doesn’t fit this category certainly doesn’t need to be reminded that he sells pillows.

Admittedly I have never understood the concept of advertising once your brand is a known entity.  I must be built differently or something, since excessive commercial advertising turns me off of far more products than it could ever turn me on to.  I’m driven by price and quality, neither of which is honestly reflected in advertising.  In fact, it blows my mind that an insurance company that blows hundreds of millions of dollars annoying the fuck out of me with constant, unentertaining commercials (hello Liberty Mutual) could ever be seen as an economically responsible entity to do business with.

Probable because the bulk of the country have more important things to worry about.  It's cute how the left still call it an investigation.
