Thank you. The front page of your article shows up as a blank to me, so the link you planted there does not appear. Now I can open it because of the link you just posted in a comment. Tudou is a website that enables me to watch movies and listen to music.
More and more I'm seeing articles/seeds (or should I say I'm NOT seeing articles/seeds) that I can't open. I shake my head in wonder since the new CoC indicates that this should NOT be done.
No Buzz, the CoC does not have a rule stipulating that articles and seeds unable to be opened by Buzz of the Orient, are a CoCviolation.
It does say It's just about Memes as stand alone articles.
As you have been reminded of before. ...not pictures, not videos, but memes. I'm sorry that some ofthefreedom loving countries around the world have declined the privilege of YouTube, and that that, affects you. Jeesh though, aren't you a law dude or something? Is it really that hard to interpret that one rule? Not that you don't like it, as is easily ascertained; but, that you don't understand it. C'mon man.
You must get sick of the restrictions on freedom. You don't talk about it much, I can see why.
I've always believed that the French language sounds much more beautiful than most other languages. For example the word for "bird" is "oiseau" (pronounced "wahsoh"), the word for "song" is "chanson" (pronounced "shawnsown"). German is at the top of this list for ugly-sounding.
Anyone else notice that the German words are a whole lot more complicated, in general?
German is a good way to clear one's throat...
We're having a language disconnect at our house, ethese days. Matthew is studying Japanese and Chinese, and I can't understand a word he says. He says something like, "domoarigatto", and I say, "huh?"
This guy kind of exaggerates it, but Swiss German is much softer, more "S" than "Ch"... Austrian German is also much softer sounding. But, it's a great way to clear one's throat, or rasp one's tonsils, for sure!
German words are often constructed by combining other words: "Krankenhaus" is "sickness house", and so on. When a word is formed from words that are already combinations of words... they can indeed get long and complicated!
I didn't mean to sound selfish - my complaint was not about me, it was about the rule not being followed. The reminder link you provided opened to a similar situation but yours at least had a link that was visible under the blank page so I could determine what the article was about even if I couldn't see it. In this case, the link was part of what was invisible to me so I had no idea what it was about.
As for the laws, rules and customs that govern life here - although I could enjoy more freedom in Canada, they don't restrict my life that much because at my age I'm happy just to be comfortable. I understand the need for the restrictions that are imposed here, so although I mouth off a bit about the internet limitations, it's probably only because I have known more freedom, even here. When I first came here YouTube, Facebook and Google were all available, but since then they've been blocked.
Like: Unterwassermotorpumpen. The word for submersible pump.
I love how the BMW engineers think, too: WASSER IST VERBOTEN, (water is forbidden), written on the radiator top. I guess you could use wine, milk, coca-cola, but God forbid you use water!
Lot's of guttural sounds in German.
Excellent!
You'll probably like
Sorry Buzz. Is there some version of youtube that we should know about that you can get?
Great one Bob! Even within London, the accents change from location to location. He did a fine job of nailing it though.
Here Buzz,
I found this for you:

That was hilarious actually!
:~)

The correct response to Domoarigatto is, of course, Mister Roboto....
Now this is complicated.
miinibaashkiminasiganibiitoosijiganibadagwiingweshiganibakwezhigan. Translation is, blueberry pie.
Obviously...

I love that one!
I now have a correct response!
Holy cow, Kavika!!!
I knew that!! j/k
Unglaublich!
LOL Nona, I'm sure that you did.
No Dowser, it's blueberry pie, not a holy cow. Holy cow is...Ozazaamakamig.
Oh, yes, please, Kavika!! Tell us the word for "holy cow".
It should be f***ing AMAZING!
Bob, should there be an /s after your comment? Oder sind sie ein ass?
If my comments bother you Bob, perhaps you shouldn't read them. Spare yourself from opening your mind and learning something new, or having a laugh.
BTW, this was supposed to be a fun article. You do understand that part of it don't you? Light hearted, joking, laughing, that sort of thing.
The seeder of the article listed it under, ''The Lighter side/humor. That should have been a big hint for you.
Sorry that your having a bad day, or life. Try to keep it to yourself, many here are enjoying the article and having a bit of a laugh.
To all of you who prefer to use YouTube to actually writing in your own words:
Does that explain things to you?
No sarcasm... If "blueberry pie" is "amazing"... which it definitely is!
Then "holy cow" should be "f***ing AMAZING!"... right?
No disrespect intended.
None of which obviates the possibility of my being an ass, of course...
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
Yeah, let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be
Living in the world agree
There will be an answer, let it be
There is still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be
Yeah, let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
There will be an answer, let it be
You know there's gonna be an answer, let it be
There is still a light that shines on me
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be
If I misunderstood your comment, than I apologize Bob.
My humor misfires about half the time... and isn't really funny the other half...
I'll bet Gisele Bundchen could make even German sound good :
That man was trying to make it sound harsh, I think. German can be pronounced much softer...
Of course it would be even better to feature someone who actually speaks German ... like Heidi Klum :
Not that I can understand a word said, other than "and", "the", etc., but he doesn't sound like he is clearing his throat... Nor does she!
3 years of study over 40 years ago, doesn't help much!
My German teacher told me that Germans think that the most beautiful words in the English language are "Cellar door".
