From A Slap In The Face To Groveling
"No one fucks with a Biden

Joe Biden was caught on a hot mic telling a local Florida mayor that "nobody fucks with a Biden." It was all part of his Wednesday visit to Florida to survey the damage caused by Hurricane Ian. Oddly enough, the rest of the world seems to be doing just that. After going to war with American oil & gas producers, Biden went to Saudi Arabia to beg the Saudi's, whom he once called "killers," to increase their oil production.  On Wednesday the Saudis did gleefully fuck Biden by announcing that the group that Saudi Arabia is a major part of woud be cutting production by 2 Million barrels a day. That move is expected to cause a spike in U.S. gasoline prices that will last for months. The day before Biden said he wouldn't divert any more oil from the strategic oil supply, which Biden has vigorously tapped into for political reasons. After the  Opec +  announcement, Biden says he is reconsidering it. Biden is also considering begging the brutal Venezuelan authoritarian regime to allow Chevron to resume its oil operations. In return Biden will wind down sanctions. There is no word yet from the government of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro.

North Korea is also sticking it to Biden as it launched its sixth ballistic missile in the past two weeks. That followed a highly provocative launch on Tuesday when North Korea fired a ballistic missile without warning over Japan, prompting Tokyo to urge residents to take shelter.

The war in the Ukraine rages on with continued nuclear threats from Vladimir Putin

The Week:

A game of Chicken:  It has been rumored that Hunter Biden had been offered a plea deal in which he would get no prison time. It is also said that he refused that deal preferring instead some home cooking in Delaware. He's gotten away with so much thanks to his father, why not? Yesterday one of our key contributors posted the Washington Post exclusive that Federal agents investigating Hunter Biden believe they have (for months) had enough evidence to charge him with tax crimes as well as a gun charge. The story got a lot of eyeballs.
Federal agents don't get to make that call. The final decision on whether to bring a case against Hunter Biden will be made by Delaware US Attorney David Weiss and he will have to take it to Biden's AG Merrick Garland. That decision would bring tremendous pressure on Garland, a man who has been a tool for Biden, to be non-patisan. It is an important issue. It is as much about Joe Biden as Hunter Biden and it is about our primary enemy: China. Wouldn't it be ironic if the same leftist media that quashed the Hunter Biden laptop story to help Joe Biden get elected, now released this Hunter Biden story to bury Joe Biden in 2024?

The Biden Marijuana pardon:  Joe Biden announced plans to pardon   all prior federal convictions of simple possession of marijuana. There are few such people in federal prison and those who are there most likely pled down from more serious charges. Will this encourage young pot heads to vote for democrats in the upcoming midterms? I tend to doubt it.

New York's un-Constitutional gun hits road block:  "A federal judge in New York temporarily blocked parts of the state's   revised concealed carry gun law  on Thursday, finding that it is too strict and should not have barred weapons from being carried in areas such as public playgrounds and health care facilities. In a 53-page ruling, Judge Glenn Suddaby said the law, which went into effect Sept. 1, was more problematic than the earlier version that was   struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court   earlier this year."

Cook Couty moves forward with guaranteed income:  "Cook County residents can apply for The Promise Guaranteed Income {ilot program which offers $500 a month for two years. They will pick applicants by random for the 3,250 spots. That’s a total of $42 million, which is the largest guaranteed income program in the country."

Spanberger vs Pelosi:  " Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.) on Friday called for new House leadership because of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s handling of legislation that would ban members of Congress from trading stock, issuing a scathing rebuke of Pelosi for putting forth legislation she said was “designed to fail.” “This moment marks a failure of House leadership — and it’s yet another example of why I believe that the Democratic Party needs new leaders in the halls of Capitol Hill, as I have long made known,” Spanberger said in a lengthy statement."

Jan 6th Committee to resume on October 13th:    "The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol said it would hold its next televised hearing Oct. 13, as it nears an end of its public effort to build its case that former President   Donald Trump   was at the center of an effort to overturn the 2020 election result. The committee hasn’t said what the hearing’s focus will be, but, according to a person familiar with the committee’s planning, it could include new information from the Secret Service, responsible for the security of Mr. Trump and former Vice President   Mike Pence  . In July, the Secret Service provided a set of more than 10,000 documents to the committee, but none included previously undisclosed text messages from Jan. 5 or 6, 2021."

Musk may buy Twitter after all:  " A judge has halted Twitter's lawsuit against Elon Musk until the end of the month, giving the Tesla CEO more time to close the planned $44 billion acquisition of the company. The judge in Delaware Chancery Court has paused the trial until 5 p.m. October 28. Musk made a renewed offer to take over the company   earlier this week  , hoping to end a protracted legal dispute that began when Musk tried to back out of the April deal and Twitter sued. Musk's lawyers then claimed that Twitter refused to accept the Tesla billionaire's bid."

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/elon-musk-lawyers-say-twitter-refusing-new-44-billion-bid/

Two entities seem concerned about Musk bringing free speech to Twitter: China and the American left.

What Have We Learned?

The voters go to the polls next month and the economy, high gas prices and crime remain the key issues. It appears that nothing is going to change that. The only question seems to be: will it be a "Great Red Wave" or will it be a narrow Republican victory? The House looks to change hands. There isn't much debate on that. As for the Senate, there are 4 races now rated as a toss up that might make a difference between a slim Republican majority or a slim democrat majority. We've already seen the usual dirty tricks by the democrats as they dug up some dirt on Herschel Walker. They seemed to have forgotten the personal affairs of Raphael Warnock. Why is the media playing down one candidates scandal, while promoting the scandal involving the other? It's because the state of Georgia has become the firewall for a democrat controlled Senate. They won two Senate seats there, which they never should have won. In the meantime, Twitter is expanding it's censoring arm known as “Birdwatch.” Hopefully they'll be under new management soon. Marc Elias is still suing states in order to change election rules.

It is truly amazing how many refuse to admit that our southern border is open.  It is estimated that since Biden’s inauguration, the illegal-immigrant population has increased by at least 1.35 million. That is a terrible burden on the nation both in public services and on taxes. Drugs, crime and human trafficking are all part of that package. As I keep saying: The American left did this to us. All they seem to know is that in the last 30 years, California, New Mexico and Colorado have gone from various shades of either red or purple to blue.

Then how would you know if Levin, an unapologetic conspiracy theorist, is correct about anything as you claimed?

By the way, demeaning people one disagrees with is unbecoming and doesn't promote civil, adult discussions.

Assuming you mean I am demeaning a public figure like Mark Levin I would take a long hard look in a mirror before I went down that road because of some of your own comments about Obama and Biden. I think it is far more likely that if the Saudis had an ulterior motive to raise oil prices on the US it is due to the special relationship they had with Donald Trump , who totally downplayed the Saudi crown's involvement in the Khashogi murder until so much time went by people forgot about it. Who knows what kind of deals Trump made with Saudi Arabia which still havent seen the light of day. One of them may be an understanding that Saudi Arabia would fuck with the 2022 elections exactly as early voting is beginning.

So every NATO country respects him?

NATO allies have made no secret of their frustration with President Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw forces from Afghanistan unconditionally by Sept. 11. Now as he arrives in Brussels this week for his first NATO summit as president, Biden must confront allies’ lingering resentment over the drawdown and tackle the thorny issues involved in securing the country’s future.

European officials say they are frustrated by what they saw as the Biden administration’s failure to sufficiently consult with allies ahead of the announcement, and the decision to move from a conditions-based withdrawal to one based on the calendar. U.K. Secretary of State for Defense Ben Wallace echoed those sentiments last month, telling parliament that he “regrets” the decision to withdraw forces without setting conditions on the Taliban.

That disappointment will likely color the discussions this week in Brussels, where officials must begin to tackle a series of unanswered questions about the future of Afghanistan — from securing critical infrastructure such as embassies and aircraft to ensuring that the country does not once again become a haven for terrorists.

“It’s not a surprise that you’ve seen some countries express, pretty straightforwardly, their dissatisfaction with the way things were done,” said one European official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive topic. “This is another example of one of the issues where within NATO, we should be more substantially discussing and consulting with one another before making decisions.”

European allies had hoped Joe Biden’s election to the US presidency would bolster Nato’s relevance after Donald Trump’s acrimonious tenure. Washington’s messy withdrawal from Afghanistan is prompting a rethink. After the fall of Kabul, EU defence and security officials have been critical of the US decision to send home its 2,500 troops, saying it has weakened Nato and raised questions about Europe’s security dependence on Washington. Their reaction marked a bitter end to the alliance’s longest-running mission, which involved 10,000 personnel from 36 countries. “This kind of troop withdrawal caused chaos. Chaos causes additional suffering,” Artis Pabriks, Latvia’s defence minister, told local radio on Tuesday. Such long-term missions were unlikely in the future, he added: “This era is over. Unfortunately, the west, and Europe in particular, are showing they are weaker globally.” He echoed Ben Wallace, UK defence secretary, who appeared on the verge of tears on Monday as he predicted “some would not get back” from the war-torn country. “It’s sad. Twenty years of sacrifice is what it is,” he said. Armin Laschet, Germany’s conservative candidate to succeed chancellor Angela Merkel, on Tuesday called the troop withdrawal “the greatest debacle that Nato has experienced since its foundation”. “It looks like Nato has been completely overtaken by American unilateral decisions,” said Lord Peter Ricketts, the UK’s former national security adviser. “First of all, Trump’s decision to start talking to the Taliban about leaving and then the Biden decision to set a timetable.” “The Afghanistan operation was always going to end some time, it was never going to go on forever, but the manner in which it’s been done has been humiliating and damaging to Nato.”

North Korea has fired a ballistic missile over Japan, in what appears to be a deliberate escalation to get the attention of Tokyo and Washington.

The missile travelled 4,500km (2,800 miles) before falling into the Pacific Ocean - far enough to hit the US island of Guam if it took another trajectory.

It is the North's first missile launch over Japan since 2017. Japan issued an alert to some citizens to take cover.

The US, Japan and South Korea conducted their own military drills in response.

South Korean and US aircraft fired at a mock target on an uninhabited island in the Yellow Sea, while the US and Japan also jointly carried out drills over the Sea of Japan.

The UN prohibits North Korea from testing ballistic and nuclear weapons. Flying missiles towards or over other countries without any warning or consultation also contravenes international norms.

China deployed scores of planes and fired live missiles near Taiwan on Thursday in its biggest drills in the Taiwan Strait, a day after U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi made a solidarity trip to the self-ruled island.

China's military confirmed multiple firings of conventional missiles in waters off Taiwan as part of planned exercises in six zones set to run until noon on Sunday. It activated more than 100 planes, including fighter jets and bombers, and over 10 warships, state broadcaster CCTV said.

Taiwan's defence ministry said it scrambled jets to warn away 22 Chinese fighter aircraft that crossed the Taiwan Strait median line into its air defence zone, and said troops fired flares late on Thursday to drive away four drones that flew above the area of its Kinmen islands, off the southeastern coast of China.

It said missiles fired by China flew high into the atmosphere and constituted no threat to it, responding to public concern about whether they passed over the main island of Taiwan.

The Politico article is irrelevant after 14 months and the Ukraine being invaded by Russia has changed all previous grousing by NATO and some allies.

Ditto the Financial Times article.

Neither the BBC article or the Reuters articles mentions Biden.

North Korea has been buying, developing and launching Scuds since the 1970's so it isn't even close to being a problem unique to the Biden Administration.

You can throw in all the OPEC countries as well.

You seem to take great joy in President Biden allegedly getting 'gleefully fucked' by the Saudis and with North Korea allegedly 'sticking it to' Biden.

Sounds hateful and vengeful and petty and spiteful and mean and nasty, and, well, all things gop/republican.  No solutions, no plans, no nothing.  Just Fuck Biden and Fuck the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives!

You really shouldn't use "Just The News"  as a source of information.

This Questionable Source (MBFC) often reports the news incorrectly.

Colorado did not send "Voter Registration Notices" to anyone.

The state mailed postcards to all Colorado residents.

The Colorado postcards , in English and Spanish, specify that residents must be U.S. citizens and at least 18 years old to register. They tell recipients how to register but are not a registration form. Colorado secretary of state says office accidentally sent 30,000 voter registration notices to noncitizens | Fox News

Even Fox News got it right.  The State wasted postage on 30,000 postcards, nothing more.

John Solomon's quackery on Just the News is for the desperate conspiratorial folks among us.
