Yup, Apple bought out the Peanuts TV Specials, but you can still watch The Great Pumpkin Special on Apple + for free from Oct. 28 through Oct 31. I also saw it listed on YouTube for free.
I was done with the NFL a few years ago. It's turned into to flag football any more. But I did see that BS this season. They are worth paying extra money to watch.
Who the hell needs to sell off "Peanuts" for a buck ?
They ruined many families traditions with this move.
Halloween is our biggest party of the year. We do not live in a subdivision so none of the neighboring kids ever come over to our isolated home, but we decorate it like crazy for our annual Halloween party.
We keep adding to the collection (while retiring some junk). Sometimes we purchase and other times we make. Here is the dragon I made for this year —the theme is "House of the Dragon"— (lots of PVC, special 3D printed joints, hoops, zip ties, 'noodle' foam, and ... the worst part ... tons of sewing).
I bought it on Amazon. It is actually a resin piece designed to hang on an interior wall; so it is fragile. I had to 3D print a special adapter to connect it to the PVC neck and then drilled holes to wire in (battery operated) red lights for the eyes (looks great at night ... the eyes glow at varying intensities).
Thanks, we like to keep offering new 'features' for our guests since our group seems to look forward to our annual event (lost some time during COVID).
Plus we enjoy having Halloween inside and out for a few weeks.
Happy Tricks-or-Treats!
I'm kind of mad that the special won't be aired.

I've had it recorded for years. It's the idea that it boils down to money.

Excellent, I'll be going as a windigo.
Don't think I will be sitting in a pumpkin patch this year.
I haven't seen that in so long.
Been practicing my shape shifting...
Good one, pat.
Thank you, I swiped that from Loretta Kemsley a while ago, lol.
The Great Pumpkin ate too much candy.
I don't usually dress up on Halloween after I perform my ritual - I just leave on my cloak and long dress....

Where did you get the head?

I'll bet.
Wow, that's great, TiG.
