City of Cold Sholders
"Did you know when I was sworn in in May, the previous City council did not budget for 2023's migrant mission," Johnson added. "So not only have we stood up the full force of government in a collaborative way, we did it without the previous city council even providing resources for it."

Another big blue sanctuary city is struggling with mass illegal migration. This would be the sitting at the center of the country, with the distinctive architecture and a population just short of 2 million, 700 thousand. A place where 695 people were slain last year. The city's long-suffering residents (about 45% white) are again on the warpath. The focus of their angst is that their most recent black radical mayor has decided to perpetually house new migrants being bussed into the city. A month ago, residents gathered for a "community" meeting inside Amundsen Park field house on Tuesday evening to express their dissatisfaction:

The amazing part of the sad story is that Chicago residents keep voting for the same type of mayor over and over again. They are radical democrats, and the results are always the same: high crime, high taxes, looting, rioting and now the housing of massive numbers of illegal migrants. After all Chicago is a sanctuary city. If those migrants are not housed in such a place they might just get deported as American law prescribes.

The current clown governing the once great city of Chicago is Brandon Johnson

Brandon Johnson

As you can see, he has all the right qualifications. He is black, radical and has a (D) after his name. The mayor has responded to the complaints by blaming the previous radical mayor, and of course..."the right wing."

Tuesday, he told an angry mob the following:

"Did you know when I was sworn in in May, the previous City council did not budget for  2023's migrant mission ," Johnson added. "So not only have we stood up the full force of government in a collaborative way, we did it without the previous city council even providing resources for it."

Beyond that:

At least 20,000 migrants have poured into Chicago since August 2022, when many migrants were bused from the southern border states to liberal cities farther north. Efforts have been underway to strip Chicago of its sanctuary city status as some residents sound off about the issue.

In addition to the influx of migrants who lack shelter, an estimated 68,000 Chicago citizens are considered homeless, Fox News Digital reported earlier this month.

Shall I end it with "elections have consequences?"

Good morning

OIP.BLTUTRAc5MDO-Q-ORPfCqwHaE8?w=253&h=180&c=7&r=0&o=5&pid=1.7

Nothing warms me up on a cold morning like Anisette in coffee. My grandmother introduced me to it when I first started working.

Then there is this:

Nearly 4,000 U.S. car dealers are asking President Biden to tap the brakes on  proposed emissions regulations  designed to ensure that two-thirds of new passenger cars are all-electric by 2032.

Car dealers tell Biden: Customers aren't ready for electric cars (axios.com)

It seems that people aren't interested in buying a super expensive car that doesn't go very far before requiring a charge that could take 30 minutes or more.

I'll bet that Biden simply ignores them.

Chicago is an international hub for finance,  culture , commerce, industry, education, technology, telecommunications, and  transportation . It has the largest and most diverse   derivatives   market in the world, generating 20% of all volume in   commodities   and financial futures alone.   O'Hare International Airport   is routinely ranked among the   world's top six busiest airports by passenger traffic ,   and the region is also the nation's railroad hub.  The Chicago area has one of the highest  gross domestic products  (GDP) in the world, generating $689 billion in 2018.  Chicago's economy  is  diverse , with no single industry employing more than 14% of the workforce.

Chicago is a major tourist destination. Chicago's culture has contributed much to the visual arts,   literature , film,   theater , comedy (especially   improvisational comedy ),   food , dance, and   music   (particularly   jazz ,   blues ,   soul ,   hip-hop ,   gospel ,   and   electronic dance music , including   house music ). Chicago is home to the   Chicago Symphony Orchestra   and the   Lyric Opera of Chicago , while the   Art Institute of Chicago   provides an influential visual arts museum and   art school . The Chicago area also hosts the   University of Chicago ,   Northwestern University , and the   University of Illinois Chicago , among   other institutions of learning .   Chicago has   professional   sports   teams in each of the   major professional leagues , including two   Major League Baseball   teams.

Chicago - Wikiwand

The idea that Chicago will be brought down by a "migrant crisis" is laughable. It is a wet dream of the right that "blue cities" will be ruined by immigration from the south.

About 30% of the Chicago population is hispanic (Chicago has the largest Mexican American population of any northern city, and has for a couple decades. )

And it is borderline racist to criticize Brandon Johnson because he is black, as the seeded article does.

One would have to have a pretty low IQ to think the article criticizes him because he's black.  I criticize him because he's running a shit hole.  I, and many others, could give a fuck less about his skin color.

You know nothing about Chicago.  Almost 75 % of the citys population is not black. The white people alone who live within the city limits is close to a million people. That would make the white people of Chicago the size of the 10th largest city in the country (Austin).

According to the   2021 US Census Bureau American Community Survey one-year estimates , the population of Chicago, Illinois was   36.1% White   (32.9% Non-Hispanic White and 3.2% Hispanic White)   1 . This means that approximately  982,000  people in Chicago identify as White.

There are more white people that live in Chicago than there are people of all colors who live in Charlotte, or San Francisco, or Boston, or Nashville, or Denver, or Seattle, or Las Vegas.

Unlike what the democrat party and democrats believe, African Americans, and all people no matter what the color of their skin are equal, just because democrats think some people are inferior based on skin color doesn't mean that they are, and they should be judged on the quality of their work and character, there should NOT be different criteria based on skin color for judging performance.

Hillary, like many here, got her ass kicked yesterday at that silly class she is teaching at Columbia:

Pro-Palestinian protesters confronted  Hillary Clinton  outside her class at Columbia University in New York City on Wednesday, amid the Israel-Hamas war.

Video shared on X shows Clinton walking past a common area of Columbia University's International Affairs Building as demonstrators chant, "Hillary, Hillary you can’t hide, you are supporting genocide." The protest, staged outside the lecture, was said to have disrupted a class taught by the former first lady and secretary of state called "Inside the Situation Room."

Melania Trump knew every time she made a public appearance, “a picture would be worth a thousand words.” In Melania’s case, the picture would have to do all the talking. This time is no different!
Melania made this service a photo op for herself, instead of handling her appearance with dignity and humility, she used it as a cat walk. Rosalynn Carter, is a national treasure who exemplified a life of humanitarian service with a spirit of generosity, dignity and compassion for all of God’s children. May she rest in peace.
