Terror on the horizon
“Remember the Boston marathon [bombing]? I’m afraid something like that might happen again or worse,” one of the sources told The Post.

The world's most dangerous terrorists have been coming across Joe Biden's wide-open border. The facts are finally trickling in. Eight men from Tajikistan with potential ties to ISIS were arrested over the weekend in New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. The suspects had been on the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force radar and were arrested by ICE.

And get this: All eight men crossed through the southern border into the U.S., and their criminal backgrounds checks came back clean when they crossed. All were supposedly fully vetted at the border. About ten million unvetted illegal migrants have entered this country under Joe Biden.

Credit for the story goes to the New York Post:

"Six Russian nationals  suspected to have terror ties to ISIS  have been arrested in a coordinated sting operation spanning Los Angeles, New York and Philadelphia, The Post can exclusively reveal.

Two ICE sources confirmed to The Post they arrested the six people, who hail from Tajikistan, over the last week after the FBI contacted the agency to warn it.

Two others who were part of the same group were also arrested after being under surveillance for “several months” by a multi-agency Joint Terrorism Task Force,  according to NBC

Part of the investigation featured a wiretap which revealed one of the now-arrested individuals was talking about bombs, the sources said."

FBI Director Wray has been issuing warnings about the threat multiple times before congressional committees. Neither Director Wray nor AG Garland have demanded that Joe Biden start enforcing US immigration law, as they should have. They too will have to take responsibility for what is coming, and it is no longer a question of if there will be a terrorist attack within the US but when.

In other news:

World leaders are convening in Italy today. They are there to discuss the wars in Ukraine and Gaza.

Hamas made changes to a cease-fire proposal, and Antony Blinken called them unacceptable. One can only imagine what they were demanding.

The House voted to hold AG Merrick Garland in contempt for refusing to turn over video from a special counsel interview with President Biden.

Hunter Biden is likely to appeal his conviction by arguing that the judge violated his Second Amendment rights in issuing her instructions to the jury.

The Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged and signaled that it would cut rates no more than once this year, which made investors happy.

The Oklahoma Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit seeking reparations for the "Tulsa race massacre." The two last known remaining survivors of the 1921 attack had brought the case. Another generation would have been forced to pay.

The question is: will the 8 men simply be deported so that they can try to reenter the country?

Not really sending people to Guatanamo Bay anymore

The most recent detainee sent to Guantánamo Bay was Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri.  He was transferred there in September 2006 after being tried in absentia and sentenced to death in Yemen in 2004 1

The Cold War is over.   Tajikistan is an independent country and no longer a republic in the soviet federation.  The world has turned, Biden's era of red scare politics is no longer relevant.  So, claiming these were Russian nationals that entered illegally requires more than a Ronald Reagan poster for verification.

The United States Marines are totally worthless dealing with Tajikistan because there is no beach.  In fact, Tajik terrorists have conducted attacks in Moscow.  Tajik terrorists have been attacking the Taliban.  So, sending the Marines to crash helicopters in Red Square won't do a damned thing about ISIS terrorists in Tajikistan.

What this news means is that the United States and Russia have something in common.

New York police  have arrested a heavily armed man who was pulled over for a traffic stop in Queens and reportedly shared extremist views online.

Judd Sanson, 27, was arrested Wednesday on multiple illegal weapons charges after police recovered a 9-millimeter Glock handgun, nine loaded magazines, heavy body armor, handcuffs, NYPD uniform items, two axes, multiple knives, a stun gun, a weighted whip and an expandable baton from his vehicle. The  New York Post reported  several troubling messages were etched into the baton, including, "You left me no choice, I am sorry, You gon [sic] learn today," and the Arabic word for, "God forgive me."

The vast majority of folk who are dealt with trying to walk North have no drugs on them.

But at $10,000 a piece (women and children get a different installment plan) to the drug cartels there is enough money so that "The bad guys and the drug mules" can "fly in."

Another thing that needs to be asked, if these immigrants were so needed where they came from, but conditions caused them to seek asylum here, then why aren't the countries they came from demanding we return them?

Was a foreman on a large ranch once and we had a Guatemalan family working for us. Great folk! We would bring them to dinner and they would bring us to dinner. We supplied the pig a few times and they cooked it for us all. They had a great slow smoking/basting technique.

I’m afraid that the next nearly daily mass shooting in this country will be at the grocery store I go to, or the hair salon my wife goes to, or the school my grandkids go to, or the church my parents go to.  All of these types of places have been fair game in the past.  Non-domestic terrorism doesn’t even cross my mind anymore.

Your odds of being in a mass shooting in the next 12 months are very low but higher if you live in California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania.
