Money Matters
“I will create a government efficiency commission tasked with completing a complete financial and performance audit of the federal government and making recommendations for drastic reforms,” Trump said.

Yesterday Donald Trump laid out his economic vision at the Economic Club of New York. Trump laid out some concrete proposals such as
extending the individual tax cuts enacted in 2017 that are set to expire in 2025. He would eliminate the inflationary "Green New Deal." He would end benefits to illegal migrants and deport most of them. He made clear he would aggressively use tariffs to target companies that outsource jobs or do not manufacture products in the United States.

Trump will also create a government efficiency commission, an idea first suggested to the former president by billionaire ally Elon Musk.

“I will create a government efficiency commission tasked with completing a complete financial and performance audit of the federal government and making recommendations for drastic reforms,” Trump said. He added that Elon Musk would head the commission.

Trump also committed to return the US to producing an abundance of energy and promised to reduce regulations. He proposed lowering the corporate tax rate to 15% from its current 21% level for companies that manufacture their products in the United States.

Trump's opponent has no details about her price control plan, nor does she have specifics on anything. She avoids questions and has used almost the same speech in all her "rallies." Nor has she received a single primary vote, yet somehow, she has a 50% chance of becoming president of the United States of America. As Donald Trump continues to grant interviews (about 40) and gives details of his economic policy, Kamala Harris has been preparing for her debate with Trump.

In the news:

Hunter Biden makes last minute guilty plea, blindsiding the prosecution and preventing any investigation leading to the Biden family business. He faces up to 17 years in prison. Despite the denials a pardon is likely right after the election.

The father of a 14-year-old accused of killing four people at a Georgia high school this week was charged with second degree murder. A year before the shooting, the F.B.I. interviewed the suspect and his father about whether he had posted threats online.

President Emmanuel Macron (savior of the left in France) appointed Michel Barnier, a conservative, as France’s new prime minister, months after the snap parliamentary elections.

Donald Trump, speaking to New York business leaders, laid out a heavily detailed economic vision of what a second term would be like.

The Obama judge overseeing Trump’s Jan. 6 criminal case set a rapid-fire schedule letting prosecutors present evidence by the end of this month. Separately, the judge overseeing Trump’s Manhattan criminal case plans to rule today on whether to postpone sentencing until after the election. The days of not trying to prosecute political elections are over.

Democrats hope that abortion ballot measures will help their Senate candidates in red states like Montana and Florida, helping the party keep its majority.

Federal agents seized the phones of New York City's Police Commissioner, school's chancellor, and several officials in Mayor Eric Adams’s inner circle. It is not yet clear what investigators are looking for.

Vladimir Putin endorsed Kamala Harris for president.

Trump did what Harris seems incapable of:  He delivered an extensive, lengthy policy speech.

He may send Kamala a MAGA hat since she keeps stealing his policy ideas like “No Tax on Tips”.

I would like you to substantiate that claim. But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I’m talking about, that — because the childcare is childcare — there’s something, you have to have it in this country. You have to have it.

Then there's no longer any point in continuing this conversation-- it ten people on the Internet agree on something-- there's no point in even discussing it further! It then becomes an irrefutable FACT!!!

Pretty sure that's not the president that America needs.

I'm curious what the Democrats will claim to fight this bill.

Will it be that people (their followers) are too stupid to get an ID or that it's racist.

How the hell do far right-wing fascists think otherwise?

It's just fear mongering on their part.

Vladimir Putin endorsed Kamala Harris for president.

Who's next? Hannibal Lecter?

Putin makes the assumption that his "endorsement" will be a kiss of death for Harris , and he will get his little bro back in office

So the fuck what?

That was after Democrats needed a scapegoat for Hillary losing the election.

Remember these Obama gems?

All because Democrats couldn't except their queen fucked up by not campaigning in fly over country; made her frigging moronic "deplorables" comment; and most importantly was more hated than Trump.

Democrats crowned their queen their nominee by fiat; which they have done every year since 2012.

Democrats think their voters are too stupid, or too sheeple, to figure out who they want to vote for themselves.

Harris and Putin are at opposite ends of the political spectrum.

The last thing Putin wants is a Harris presidency.

Putin spent millions to make sure Hillary wasn't elected.

All anti-Harris propaganda can be traced to Putin.

Okay. And??

All anti-Harris propaganda can be traced to Putin.

Do you feel any negatives about Harris is propaganda?

Besides your comment being untrue, it is also a silly sweeping generalization.
