Took a drive to a beautiful lake that has a walking path around it. Some people jog, some people walk, and some people bring their dogs there for a walk. This is theplace I go to every once in a while, to walk, and take pic's. Ialways go in September, when they have the Monarch Fest.

I watch as your images continue to grow stronger in composition that is the greatest challenge for any visual artist (and music, and literature).

Continue in the same direction.

Nona,

If you act like a grown up, you won't be anything like me.

Amazing shots. You must have a fantastic zoom lens to get those pics so sharp and clear. One bit of advice - next time try to show the whole reflection of the goose in the water. (I hope you're not insulted by my telling you that.)

Beautiful ducks! The mallards look like they could be in a book that shows mallards! Great pictures!

Agree with Dowser, your pictures would do justice to a nature book.

I cannot walk a hundred yards from my house without

running across both of these birds around the swamps and small lakes. In fact hundreds of geese live around some of the lakes year long, and are considered nuisances and are hunted down, trapped, poisoned, and otherwise urged to move on.(rarely works)

Thank you for sharing with us.

Thank you dd. I live in the 'burbs, so the only way I get to see these birds is to go to a Nature Center. A friend of mine has a house on the lake front, and they are a big nuisance, especially when they use her yard as their own bathroom! ICK!
