Lawfare 2.0
What you have here are judges that are imposing national injunctions which the Supreme Court, including liberals like Justice Kagan, have objected to," Turley said. "She said this is madness that you have all of these trial judges who are imposing national injunctions."

Link to quote: Turley: Federal Judges Have Overextended Themselves, Have Intruded Into Areas Of Article II Presidential Authority | Video | RealClearPolitics

Leftwing District Court judges are now exceeding their authority in trying to obstruct President Trump's policies. It was all well planned and the planning began during the summer, well before the election. From Politico in July:

"Now, Democratic attorneys around the country are already gearing up for the possibility of a second Trump administration by beginning to map out an aggressive legal strategy to fight him again in court — this time with a fresh sense of urgency.

Democratic attorneys general are exploring hiring outside experts and dispatching staff to study areas of the law anticipated to come under attack, like reproductive health, immigration and the environment.

They are identifying staff members best equipped to fight assertions of executive privilege — which Trump invoked in his most high-profile controversies — and states best positioned to lead bigger cases.

And they are scrutinizing  Project 2025 , the 900-page blueprint from The Heritage Foundation that lays out a conservative agenda for the next Republican presidency.
The early but serious preparations are an acknowledgment that a second Trump presidency would entail these lawyers filing lawsuit after lawsuit against the federal government, to mitigate what they view as a significant threat to democracy and individual rights."

Democratic lawyers get ready: ‘If Trump wins, there will be chaos’ - POLITICO

The ruling class once again conspired to used lawfare against the will of the American people. In his first term President Trump faced 64 injunctions out of 127 injunctions issued since 1963. In a PBS interview on the "PBS NewsHour," Senate Minority leader gave away the game plan when he said:

"We did put 235 judges, progressive judges, judges not under the control of Trump, last year on the bench, and they are ruling against Trump time after time after time.

And we hope that the appellate courts, when it gets up there and the Supreme Court will uphold those rulings."

"Chuck Schumer admits the quiet part out loud— Democrat-appointed judges are really activists who are there to stop Trump

Schumer Gives Away the Judicial Game in PBS Interview

Democrat state AGs, democrat activist groups including the ACLU and numerous law firms are all filing lawsuits. It will all come down to the SCOTUS and there are already 3 cases there. Chief Justice Roberts may be the person with the future of the Republic in his hands.

He must act soon.

In the news:

AA1BZK2W.img?w=768&h=432&m=6&x=130&y=203&s=197&d=197&f=webp
President Trump said he was very angry at Vladimir Putin for not being serious about peace and threatened to penalize countries that buy Russian oil if Russia thwarted a cease-fire deal with Ukraine.

Voters in Wisconsin will elect a new justice to the State Supreme Court tomorrow. The race has become a test of will and money between both political parties as well as a confrontation between Elon Musk and George Soros.

Israel has built outposts and fortifications in Syria and Lebanon. Hamas said it had accepted a cease-fire proposal, less than two weeks after a previous deal collapsed. Israel says not so fast. This time there will be new conditions.

The French have their own version of lawfare.
A Paris court found Marine Le Pen "guilty" of embezzlement, endangering her plans to run for president in 2027.

The police in London forced their way into a Quaker Meeting House and arrested activists gathered there to plan Gaza war protests.

Good morning and welcome to the news.

Spring has finally sprung along the Potomac

I guess I'm proud of Canada's Justice system, its Judges and Justices, and I knew some extremely well, including the one for whom I articled (i.e. apprenticed) and personal friends, where there is no adherence to political bias, as compared to the situation in the USA.

It's understandable that you're not familiar with the Canadian justice system, but I am, and you can take my word on my opinion of it.  As for the America I used to know and love, that was in the past as well.

No, the subject is MAGA whining when a judge finds against Trump.  Whether the ruling is correct or not.

If that was the case we wouldn't be having this discussion. I think Robert's was clear when he told litigants to use the established appeals processes.

That is the problem. They have authority over a district. We all need to know where the limit is.

I think Robert's was clear when he told litigants to use the established appeals processes.

He was very clear. And the process goes all the way up to his COURT. He may not want it, but the moment of truth has arrived.

We already do. The right cheered when a district court stopped Biden student loan forgiveness.

And the process goes all the way up to his COURT. He may not want it, but the moment of truth has arrived.

And when you get that 6 to 2 ruling from the court you don't want?

Abuse of the TROs will have to end.  Yet again, Democrats take a tool, break all norms using it and require adults to step in and set new rules.

Brandon never followed the Constitution.

Failure to enforce US borders and immigration laws isn't following the Constitution.

Neither is ignoring multiple Supreme and lower court rulings on his EO's for Renter Moratoriums and College Debt Forgiveness.

Weaponization of the IRS, FBI, CIA, and DOJ against his political opponents sure as hell isn't in the Constitution.

Nor is threatening to use the US military against his political rivals twice.

Democrats/leftists are always guilty of what they accuse Republicans/Conservatives of.

So on one hand you parrot the narrative that federal courts are stepping outside their jurisdiction and on the other, you applaud the federal government in threatening a state official for administrative malfeasance in her jurisdiction.

The hypocrisy is astounding.

Not only do they have to pay their student loans, but the diplomas are still valid. It's not like tearing up a copy of a diploma all of a sudden invalidates it. All they have to do is request another copy to be made so they can display it, though I wouldn't be surprised if many conservatives are completely clueless about that fact since they've never put much effort into pursuing higher education. They say it's because they don't trust it, but I suspect the reality is closer to the fact that they're just too fucking lazy and comfortable in their ignorance.

Personally, I'd much rather have a physician with a torn-up diploma doing my surgery than a rightwing religious conservative that ridicules higher education and never worked hard to get educated and receive a college degree.

A completely toothless display that means nothing. They tore up a piece of paper, not their actual degrees. Additionally, Columbia University has a very simple process to get a replacement diploma which can all be done online.

Request a Replacement Diploma | University Registrar

All of this was merely a performance for the masses.

And was said elsewhere, they still have to pay their student loans.
