Philly Phall Photos Phor Phriends

Went out today in my Philadelphia neighborhood and into the woods just down the street.

The fall foliage colors are about a week away from peak, but there's enough right now to turn one's head and say "nice!"

3167_discussions.jpg Pennypack Creek. Makes for a good-lookin' poster I think.

3168_discussions.jpg A tributary that feeds the stream in the top photo.

Jeeezzzzz - I wish our cactus did something like that - gorgeous A. Mac - gorgeous. We get either brown or green - no in-between.

Hoping to get out every day this week as the leaves continue to turn but rain is forecast for every day!

Damn!

Still have more to post from yesterday.

Beautiful photos A Mac. The leaves are just getting started here in Charlotte. Most trees haven't even started turning. I know one thing, the acorns are falling like little rocks. I've heard it said the more acorns the colder the winter, but have observed that for years and it really doesn't seem to be true.

Six,

In years of many acorns, the White-footed Mouse population feeding on them subsequently increases as a result they are the most prevalent carriers of the deer tic which crries Lyme Disease.
