Yes it has. I love Fall. I would love Winter, if I could look out my window when it is cold, raining or just dreary. I love daylight savings. I don't like it when it gets dark at 5pm in the middle of winter.
Days start getting longer after the winter Solstice (Dec 22) and the rate at which the length increases follows a sinusoidal curve so that the fastest changes occur around the vernal equinox (Mar 22), slowing down and stopping at the summer solstice.
The shortest day of the year is December 21st and June 21st is the longest. I like the longest.
Late June or early July Randy. Late enough so it's not too cold, but still early enough so it's not like a steam bath.
According to the late Johnny Carson, you can tell when it's Fall in Southern California because they take down the green plastic trees and put up the brown plastic trees.
Great stuff Mac. The colors look a lot nicer than the ones here. It might be that unusual amounts of rain fell here during July and August, or it could just be that your photography is about a hundred times better than mine.
Peak has arrived.

Beautiful colors Mac. We should have ours in a week or two.
Really lovely colors. Ours are still no where to be found.
Not only the leaf colours are a pleasure to see, but that so-blue sky is such a rarity here.
Mac and Nature at their finest! Beautiful colors! As always...Thank You!
Looking up frommy back deck, looks a lot like that
Thanks for sharing a beautiful picture
Kind comments for which I thank each of you.
