I'm extremely flattered. I remember the photos you posted a while back and your well on your way to publishable quality imagery. It would be great if you and I lived close enough to do some photo shoots together. I look forward to your rain forest photos and the use of a tripod will serve you well.
What kind of camera and lens would they be? I used to think the ideal cameras were the Hasselblad for 2 1/4" square photos and the Leica for 35mm. I never had any experience with a Hasselblad, but I used a Leica M3 on a trip to Spain and Morocco and got unbelievably sharp colour slides - could blow them up to 5' X 5' and the details were still razor's edge.
A friend sent these pictures of these entries, and I wanted to share them. I have no idea who the photographers are, but they sure are amazing!
Wonderful photos. All of them made me smile.
Glad youliked them, I smiled too. What amazing photographers, they were at the right place, at the right time!!
I was looking at Nat. Geo the other day. Maybe this is the link.
That's it!! the friend that sent it is also into photography
IMO National Geographic should hire A.Mac as a part-time photographer.
I agree!!
When I grow up I want a $4,000 camera, a $10,000 lens, and, to take pictures like these. They are just superb!
