Personally, my preference is peanut butter and strawberry jam with slices of banana on very fresh challa (egg bread), or for a change of pace and texture, thin slices of apple instead of banana.
That's San Francisco for ya, Kavika! I was there just two weeks ago and it was perfect then. Again, I have felt the bite of the wind during past visits.
