"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."
The photo that is The banner on my Website was taken from the Top of Gore Mountain overlooking the High Peaks of the Adirondacks. (The full picture is attached.) At the time it was taken, my friend was recounting how he had been talking with a minister about Church and why he was never there. Long story short, he told the minister, "I work in my church everyday."
A place of reflection literally and figuratively.
A place of reflection...That it is Mac.
A perfect spot to pitch a tent and run a hammock between a couple of sturdy trees.
Well, if you loose sight, then I suggest you tighten it. )
(Sorry, but I just couldn't control myself any longer.)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....
Nice!
Beautiful, Mac.
Come and reflect downstream I have added an image.
You have a beautiful place to reflect and it reflects well back at you, Mac. Lovely!
The Creator, and Mother Earth have created beauty beyond words.
This was taken at work....
We must go to similar houses of worship!
Yep, this is peace.
Love your pictures!
If I had worked in a place like that I'd never had retired.
Kindred Spirits.
Looks like home. I need to go back.
It gets a bit cold in the winter.

Now I, too, have the pleasure of working there.
AMac,
Yes, but you did retire, and now you have the leisure to attend whatever church you desire.
