Lately there have been several alarmist articles about how humans are causing irretrievable damage to the environment . But let's put things into perspective . Here are 5 experiments that were suspected of being able to destroy the earth :
I hope some of you gawkers stayed long enough to watch the short video . If that doesn't cure you of your global warming bellyaching then I don't know what will ...
The 5 experiments were : The Kola super deep borehole Trinity atom bomb test Large Hadron Collider [I know someone who's kids were scared s&*%tless that this would kill us all . Buahahahaha ! ]
Starfish Prime [You're gonna have to watch the video to find out what that was ] Seti [Personally I don't see that as dangerous ... but maybe the Pioneer spacecraft program could cause problems later on . See ]
Very interesting video Petey. There are many things that could happen at any time to destroy life on earth. If our power grid was destroyed, which is a real possibility, it wouldn't be long before we would be in mass hysteria and it would take us back so far I doubt we would ever recover.
People who are used to camping out would likely be less affected than others . And those who depend heavily on air conditioning are in for a rude shock . But all in all the shock to our economy and jobs would be severe .
I agree . But it does prove that alarmism is not a new thing . It has had an extensive history since the 1900's to recent rimes . And that's why the article is entitled "Putting things in perspective ." .
My personal opinion is that due to the action-reaction principle if we were to shoot enough mass over time into space in the direction opposite the sun, it could move the Earth out of its presently balanced orbit held by centrifugal forces against the gravity of the sun to bring it closer to the sun and thereby upsetting the balance so that the Earth will be drawn into the sun.
Perhaps if we were to get all the NRA members to fire their guns into the air at night it could do the trick.
You have no idea how much energy it would take to do that . It is enormous . Stick to the law and meaningless leftist talking points . You will be taken seriously by the left and ridiculed by anyone not on the left but at least someone will accept/acknowledge what you say .

I read that the US was considering deploying such a weapon against Iran . Want a link ?
I like your platform . You sound like a shoe-in .

Thanks for identifying the videos, Petey. I couldn't open the video.
