Learn from Experience, Refine, Learn from Experience, Refine …

I've been working on improving my imagery I wish I could remember who it was in my life who taught me

"You can't get it right until you first get it wrong."

Maybe it will come to me because, although I forget who told me, I never forgot the message.

Today I decided to tweak my most recent bird-photography procedure .

Here are the first results.

I'm happy with the results, but I will keep working at it.

Great series AMac. I love the saying and will try and keep that in mind as I learn to be a photographer.

Magnificent. As I've said before, Audubon should hire you. (National Geographic as well)

I like the second one: he displays his proud chest. Is it me or does this bird look like he has been hanging out at the birdfeeder to long?

Actually, it was chilly and overcast and the puffed out feathers are to preserve body heat.

And the bird feeder thing too.
