"The best laid plans of mice and men often go astray."
Robert Burns called it correctly.
I fully intended to head out into the woods behind my house this morning, that to photograph spring.
Distractions prevented that plan but, after dinner I went into the woods about a half mile south of my backyard piece of it and executed the plan as follows.

Oh Mac,you need to send those to National Geographic!! They're incredible!!
It's beautiful! Truly beautiful!
Great photos Mac.
As the Terminator once said, ''I'll be back''.
OK! Done.
Really, click the individual images -- they look much better that way.
Added one more; that's it for now.
Fly fishing tomorrow -- and maybe more photos.
Multi-tasker me.
Those are excellent Mac. Love them all.
Brookies or Rainbow for supper?
Again and again - absolutely wonderful photos.
Pizza I'm a catch & release guy.
Although I once released a pizza.
It didn't swim that well
Must have been the extra cheese.
Many thanks for the kind words.
Great photos AMac feels like you could walk right into the stream.
If it would have been anchovy, it would have had no problem swimming.
I can smell and feel the the air in those photos.
What a wonderful selection of photos of spring, Mac. How nice to just walk out your door and have that all there for the taking..... of pictures.
Funny, AMac. You explained your style once before...catch & release. I thought that was very kind of you, although, if I caught a pizza, I would be tempted to keep it.
Love the pics of your stream, as always. The painting effect is truly Art. In fact, I view the altered pieces as Art now. I have you to thank for that, as well as nature, but a little more you. "Thank you." Very nice.
Exceptional
As usual!
Magnificent, as always! I want to go for a hike along the paths...so calm and peaceful.
