Birdo de Mayo

Every day is a day to celebrate the beauty of Nature.

4414_discussions.jpg I can set my calendar by this Catbird; he's returned to my back yard for years on or about May 1.

4415_discussions.jpg One of the "kittens". In bird body language this means "feed me!":

4416_discussions.jpg American Goldfinch, Male.

4417_discussions.jpg Red-bellied Woodpecker -- finally got to photograph a male Red-bellied.

Awesome as usual Mac. I think my fave is the little birdie saying "Feed me" So, the Catbird is a return tenant huh? That's so cool that it comes back at almost the exact time every year.

There are so few species of birds where I live, mostly very dull-coloured. Thanks for the superb reminders of North America and the beauties of nature.

Ditto, ditto - I am so jealous 'cause the brick, concrete wall surrounding my rental place looks - well, just looks gray.Frown.gif
