Sunny Sunday Morning Walkabout in China
Sunny Sunday Morning Walkabout in China
My wife and I went for a walk this morning. It was sunny and warm and the flowers were blooming. Many people were out either walking or involved in some activities. Here is what we saw today:
Lots of flowers around:
Fishing in a pond can be a family event:
This Chinese form of chequers is serious business:
Rabbits for sale - hopefully not to be eaten:
This is a kind of fan dance done to music, mostly by elderly people for exercise and entertainment:
University student dormitory. 2 sets of clothes - wash and dry one, wear the other.
I'm not sure but it looks like an air-filled kids playground.
English Corner. Many Chinese come out to practise their English with foreigners like myself
Here Mike Murphy from Texas is leading a sing-song in English
Everyone's looking at the posters with the words
They play croquet on hard dirt ground.
I never saw palm trees blossom before - who's that beautiful woman?
Wherever you go there are street vendors.
Oh, my wife, that's who she is.
Then home for lunch and a rest. Almost everybody rests after lunch.
Your Sunday will just have started - it must be about 3:30 a.m. where you are. Hope you can have as nice a time as I did.
Nice photos Buzz, I enjoyed the walk, I felt the breeze. I want you to know that the men are playing "Xiangqi" (Chinese Chess).
What great picture and beautiful colors. And your wife IS beautiful. Nice job with your photography skills. Thanks for taking us on the walk with you and your wife!!
Beautiful photos, Buzz. Your wife is lovely.
Beautiful pictures Buzz. Reminds me of Taiwan so much when I was there. I hear it is one of the most expensive places in the world to live today though.
I don't know about Taiwan, Sixpick, but China certainly isn't.
Great photos Buzz...Thanks for posting them.

Thanks to all of you for your compliments. It does give me the motivation to do more of these photo essays.
