The head of the female robin seems to be in between the lighter shade of a female and the darker head of the male. Could this robin be.......something in between? (I won't say the word because a bunch of people might say I'm ...phobic.)
One day...one day I hope, I can join both of you (and Larry?) with a line in the water.

Buzz,
I buy one MegaMillions Lottery ticket every week; in the unlikely event I ever win, I have a list of people who each will be given a piece of winnings -- you are on the list (along with a few other NT friends). Hopefully your share will get you here and then some.
You don't have to give me any money, A.Mac, Just buy return airfare for me and my wife, give us a place to stay and food to eat, and the use of a rod and reel. That's all I need.
No argument re: "need", but if I ever hit a crazy-large lottery, I'll have way more than any human being would need. So, my daughter and grand kids get a bundle, charity a bundle, other family members, and, people I consider friends get some too.
It is most unlikely to happen -- the lottery thing, but if if ever does -- it would give me joy and peace to share.
Although I won a number of very insignificant ones, once I won $5000. My daughter handles my finances in Canada, and I told her to take about 10 or 20 bucks out of every monthly pension cheque and buy lottery tickets for me.
One time, at Kiwanis club they had a raffle. Had to put in $100 and I won first prize, a trip to Rio de Janiero - air flight, hotel and spending money for two. My wife didn't want to go so I traded it in with the travel agency for all they would give which was a week in Miami Beach. We went, and the only day that was sunny we still had to wear sweaters, otherwise it rained most of the week.
Today birds tomorrow, fly
fishing.
Is there no one around to tweet?
Tweet, tweet.
Great photos once again Mac.
Thanks Kavika,
I'll be fishing tomorrow and wishing you were fishing alongside.
Good luck tomorrow Mac.
I'll be going out on Sunday.
Some day Mac, we'll be fishing partners.

Thanks Larry; 35mph winds from the NNW killed the bite today. But, it's good to be alive.
Thanks RIO happy to see you here and Chloe as well.

These shots are so detailed the birdies seem to be saying hello ... at least to the spring weather .
You bring out the art in Nature, A Macarthur. Such detail! Such vivid colors!
Bathed in cascading light
Of Spring's golden sunshine
Sweet innocence looks again
At the unfolding of life.
For that I thank you,but
God, Nature, The Cosmos creates the beauty -- I just take pictures.
Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.

Einstein believed in Spinoza's theory that God is Nature, and Nature is God.
Interesting, Buzz.
Very well said Ralph. Beautiful photos A Mac. As always, thanks for bringing such pure beauty for us to enjoy.
Do we really have a choice, Mac?
