I could see The Queen's Gambit cleaning up at next year's Emmys. Did everyone notice that in this final scene she is dressed to resemble a chess piece ?
The Queen's Gambit was certainly super entertaining to watch. I've also enjoyed The Mandalorian S2 on Disney+. Currently watching The Expanse S5 on Amazon Prime. They are all fantastic!
I watch zero American tv series, but if you really want to have a good time, watch the Korean series "Kingdom". It really is good. I believe it is on Netflix.
We've been watching bushcraft videos on You Tube: TA Outdoors, Nagualero are two favorites, no talking, just watching them build shelter/tents, gather wood, cook, etc., Nagualero also is a painter and typically paints his campsite. Kent Survival is also good, he talks.
Also like Living The Van Life and Elsa Rhae & Barron, they each live in their vans/trailers traveling the US.
For actual shows: PBS: Rick Steves. Discovery: Mysteries of the Abandoned, How It's Made. History channel: Counting Cars, Chasing Classic Cars, History's Mysteries.
I forgot, there was a new show I watched and it was ok. Forget what it was called but it was about young girls kidnapped and kept in the trailer of a truck.
We just watched Midnight Sky and it was not so hot.
I was all excited for Midnight Sky, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment, IMO.
It had potential, but then...*flush*.
Now we are about to watch the next installment of "The Expanse".
I've just now started watching season 4. I'm only a few episodes in, but it's looking awesome so far. I really like that show. Still can't believe SYFY dumped it.
There are a few good fiction programmes, but I don't think I've watched any of them for quite a while... I suppose I'm somewhat of a Luddite,,,but I work long days...I used to love movies, but now to relax I prefer reading a book
I admit it-- I am more than a bit of an eccentric..LOL! 0.
When it comes to TV shows I'm a bit limited to the ones that are in English, so it's either movies, or the news and panel shows on CGTN (China Global Television Network) that provides half hour news broadcasts (The World Today) and two panel shows I enjoy (The Point, and The Heat) that provide commentary on current events. I get much more variety from the internet.
If you are into Sci Fi, my family binge watched a Netflix original called Dark. It is in German with English subtitles, but after becoming immersed in the story you hardly notice that it is in another language. A fascinating story with multiple plot twists that will bend your mind. Good stuff!
I know, was just messin with ya Dulay. I had heard this show was quite good and I've been meaning to take a closer look. A couple others sound good too like The Expanse. So many shows, so little time...

I kept watching that ending over and over. The look on her face when she realizes the game is hers!
Haven't watched TV in years, but my favorite TV show of all time was Firefly.
Stat Trek: Picard.

Rick & Morty
I always thought Rick kinda looked like Bernie Sanders.
I watch FBI. I know it's not a great show but I like it. Reminds me of Law and Order years ago, without the lawyers.

The Mandalorian. And it's not even close.
I mean come on!
We have not gotten to that but we are going to.
I don't really watch any new shows or prime time shows. I will watch things like Blue Planet on BBC.
I do watch The Challenge, it is on now.
Well, I suppose I've always been a bit of an outlier-- a non-conformist of sorts.
My absolute favourite show is Halftime Report (5 days/week, 12 Noon EST).
CNBC.

The Queens Gambit was the best by far.
We just watched Midnight Sky and it was not so hot.
Now we are about to watch the next installment of "The Expanse". I am hoping it is as good as it has been.

Oh Mulan was very good, too. I was pleasantly surprised.

Same as what I said 2 years ago.

I got hooked on "House of Cards" while I was visiting my son in Florida. I'm about 3-4 episodes into Season 3
Warrior Nun is pretty good.
Season 2 of His Dark Materials.
Is that the show about an independent business suit manufacturer?
Nope.
