"I won't" !

Why does my heart feel so bad?
Why does my soul feel so bad?

I was just leaving McD's when the news hit.  I was only 5 mins from home but made it there in less than a minute.  I rushed inside to find my husband watching a John Wayne movie, which I never disrupted when JW was on, but that day I didn't even ask, I turned on the news and broke down crying.  Once he put the pieces together, he also broke down.

Despite our grievances here, we have a common threat....9/11.

Yep !

Sad that "Disasters" are the ONLY thing that can actually bring Americans together.

But ….. I suppose "Politics' can be considered a "Disaster", but that's a waaaaaay different made up story.

Everyone "Really" wants the same thing. it's the "How", where the differences comes in !

When the second plane hit, I new,

I think that is how it was for most of us. Then the Pentagon and Shanksville.

A day that is impossible to forget.

It was a brave group of passengers who said to themselves, Hell we are going to die anyway, so lets try to stop these mf's.  Because of their sacrifice, the devastation that could have been wasn't.

We were dropping our girls off at the daycare on the way to work.  Just sat in the car listening to the radio, not believing, for 1/2 an hour.

We were both almost an hour late for work that day.  Nobody said anything to us about being late, the entire building was in shock.

Never Forget, that a mentally defective republican POTUS had blown off multiple warnings from US intelligence agencies about the likely-hood of possible terrorist attacks from his family's friends and business partners involving airliners. then he spirited members of OBL's family out of the US when a few low yield neutron bombs dropped in the neighborhoods of the the royal saudi family should have been the immediate response upon confirmation of who committed the terrorist acts. OBL's family and every member of the saudi royal family in the US at that time should have been cooling their heels at camp gitmo on bread and water while waiting their turn to be pushed off the loading ramp of a C130 at 30,000 feet somewhere over the mid-atlantic, handcuffed to cinder blocks.

Bill Clinton knew it....Bill Clinton knew it....Bill Clinton knew it …… Didn't stop it !

"In December 1998, the CIA's Counterterrorist Center reported to President Bill Clinton that al-Qaeda was preparing for attacks in the U.S. that might include hijacking aircraft. [1][2]"

^ 1. Schmidt, Susan (July 18, 2004). "1998 Memo Cited Suspected Hijack Plot by Bin Laden". The Washington Post. Retrieved September 26, 2013.
^2.  "Bin Ladin Preparing to Hijack US Aircraft and Other Attacks". Director of Central Intelligence. December 4, 1998. Archived from the original on October 15, 2012. Retrieved September 26, 2013.

It took 11 years, but Judicial Watch recently received a response to a 2002 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that revealed another major missed opportunity by the Clinton administration to prevent the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack, which is part of perhaps the most catastrophic failure in the history of U.S. intelligence.

"Can we make this non-politcal?"

I didn't start the "Politics", but I will be courteous and respond to others, since I started this blog.

There are only two times in my lifetime that i recall, and will never forget, the instant I first heard of a horrible occurrence like 9/11 happening, wherein I recall exactly where I was and the events immediately following.  The first was when I first heard that JFK had been shot. and the second was 9/11.  I was driving north on Mount Pleasant Boulevard in Toronto, having just dropped off my wife at work, right at where it dips north of Bloor Avenue (yes, I can recall EXACTLY where) when I heard on the car radio of the first plane crash.  I made it home in time to turn on the TV to see the second plane crash into the WTC.

I am absolutely dumbfounded that there are members here who would POLITICIZE their comments about the tragedy, who would use it as an excuse to be critical of Americans rather than identify who  the REAL criminals were, the actual perpetrators and the planners, so they can fly their personal flags about being such great Social Justice Warriors and deflectors of the real cause, in support of the person who said "Some people did something".  The title of this article was NEVER FORGET (which term I don't really approve of because it does trivialize the time when it was millions, the wiping out of half the world's Jews, rather than thousands who lost their lives - not that "thousands" are incidental, or that anyone SHOULD forget 9/11).  Before you criticize me for mentioning the use of the words "Never Forget", take note that I have not forgotten nor will I ever forget 9/11, nor those who did it, nor should any of you.
