Trying to get her disqualified over things that have nothing to do with the case demonstrates a consciousness of guilt on Trump's part.

No trying to get her and her lover disqualified may give a future jury pause.  His lawyers would be remiss to not pursue this.

Glad you agree her conduct was unprofessional.  A courtroom is not her personal platform to rant.  It belongs to the people, and has rules to abide by to keep it that way.  Unbelievable a judge had to reprimand a sitting DA.  Hate to think what she acts like in private.

3.1.7  CB  replied to  Sunshine @3.1.6    2 months ago

There is a judge in the court who corrected as needed. There is no need for you to keep this alive by trying to diminish Ms. and remark on her not being "an educated woman" as you put it at 3.1.4 — it shows your bias.

And it is not "unbelievable" that a D. A. is corrected by a judge, because every official at one time or another in a court setting is corrected by its judge on matters of law and disposition.

Ms. Willis was 'hot' over how she was being misrepresented by the defense lawyers (I did not catch the earlier testimony that upset her), and so she came in 'strong' and many admire that about her. But, two things can be possible at the same time. When/where she calmed down (a bit) it was fine. Her display of grit was fine too as she was not charge with contempt by the judge.

And though some may not like displays of aggressiveness by women, it is fine when it is 'essential' and when it serves to get the point across!

Also, as a professional it is possible Ms. Willis understands the nature of what was transpiring in the 'moment' in the questioning and wanted to set the record straight with no nonsense (without question).

(Women should appreciate other women standing up for themselves.)

Robin Bryant-Yeartie, who knew Willis since college and worked in the DA's office, testified that Willis began dating Wade in 2019. Willis strongly denied that.

“It’s highly offensive when someone lies on you,” Willis said.

Willis said Yeartie is no longer her friend.

“I think she betrayed our friendship,” Willis said.

Wade testified that Willis shared the expenses by reimbursing him with cash, but that he didn’t have any records of it.

Willis is old fashioned that way, just peeling off the Benjamins from her hundie roll.

Judge clarifies: Yes, Trump was found to have raped E. Jean Carroll - The Washington Post

he said that the conduct the jury effectively found Trump liable for — forced digital penetration — meets a more common definition of rape. He cited definitions offered by the American Psychological Association and the Justice Department, which in 2012 expanded its definition of rape to include penetration “ with any body part or object .”
