Hours before the start of opening arguments and the second week of the trial of the first former U.S. president to face criminal charges, Donald Trump is urging his supporters to "rally behind MAGA" and "go out and peacefully protest" at courthouses across the country, as he laments the protections and high security at Manhattan's Criminal Courts Building.

Trump's remarks come just days after a man set himself on fire last week outside the same courthouse where jury selection was underway in Trump's criminal trial. That man later died.

Seizing on current news stories, Trump claimed "Palestinian protesters, and even rioters," are "allowed to roam the Cities, scream, shout, sit, block traffic, enter buildings, not get permits, and basically do whatever they want including threatening Supreme Court Justices right in front of their homes."

NCRM has found no reports of pro-Palestinian protestors "threatening Supreme Court Justices right in front of their homes." Over 100 pro-Palestinian protestors were arrested in New York City last week, according to Reuters.

Trump also complained that "people who truly LOVE our Country, and want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, are not allowed to 'Peacefully Protest,' and are rudely and systematically shut down and ushered off to far away 'holding areas,' essentially denying them their Constitutional Rights."

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled areas designated to house protestors are legal, including at courthouses depending on the protestors' motivations.

"America Loving Protesters should be allowed to protest at the front steps of Courthouses, all over the Country, just like it is allowed for those who are destroying our Country on the Radical Left, a two tiered system of justice. Free Speech and Assembly has been 'CHILLED' for USA SUPPORTERS. GO OUT AND PEACEFULLY PROTEST. RALLY BEHIND MAGA. SAVE OUR COUNTRY!"

Trump concluded by misquoting the famous Democratic U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt: "THE ONLY THING YOU HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF."

This is not the first time Trump has urged his followers to show up and show support for him. Ahead of his expected indictment in New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg's criminal case against the ex-president, Trump told his supporters to "protest," and "take our nation back!" in all-caps.

Last week, MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donell "explain[ed] how Donald Trump's wish for a revolution during his first criminal trial did not happen because his supporters did not show up."

Donald Trump has been criminally indicted in four separate cases and is facing a total of 88 felony charges, including 34 in his New York criminal trial for alleged falsification of business records to hide payments of hush money to an adult film actress and one other woman, in al alleged effort to suppress their stories and protect his 2016 presidential campaign, which could be deemed election interference.

The Trump will explain why there no mass protests on his behalf

- they werent allowed to protest on the courthouse steps.

Nobody is going to do that because THEY KNOW THERE IS A TWO-TIERED JUSTICE SYSTEM.

A TWO-TIERED JUSTICE SYSTEM

Most citizens are not afforded the same privileges as Trump and the very wealthy.  It's time to end the two-tiered justice system and treat Trump just like every other citizen without granting him the special privileges he continues to receive.  Despite what his cultists fervently desire, TRUMP IS NOT THE KING.

He just got some justice from the New York Appellate Court. I suspect he is going to get a lot more in November.

What specifics do you have in mind?

Yes that two tiered justice system has been sucking the former 'president's' mushroom and not gagging the turd as he should be - any other defendant would have been behind bars pending all of the criminal charges against them.

Please tell us all what special privileges Trump has been afforded?

Was he offered a sweet heart plea deal by a DA that let the most serious of charges statue of limitations run out? A plea deal that would have protected him against future charges?

Was he simply not charged because he had that all powerful D behind his name like Brandon and Hillary who committed far more serious offenses mishandling classified documents. Especially Hillary who destroyed evidence and government property when she used bleach bit on her servers and hard drives; and also had her people smash pads and cellphones. Or Brandon who knowingly share classified information with his ghost writer (who by some miracle also isn't being charged even though he doesn't have clearance to view classified information- and also destroyed evidence).

Everyone is entitled to right of appeal; even Hunter Biden- who still hasn't faced justice yet for his federal crimes. His investigation has been going on for over 7 years. Talk about slow walking. Funny how they can crack out charges against Trump in a matter of months; but it takes years- if ever- before investigations and charges are filed against Democrats.

Despite what TDS sufferers desire Democrats are not monarchs; and this isn't China!

The events alleged in the Trump hush money case took place 7 years ago.

Yes, amazing how slow walking a case against Trump can make it come up during an election year, but slow walking the Hunter Biden case will delay it past the next election and because it is an ongoing investigation there will be no comment on it and therefore silence from the media.

First- the same DA that is charging Trump now refused to charge Trump when the investigation was completed.

Some wondered why Bragg revived a case he had appeared to leave for dead just months ago. Others questioned the specifics — like how Bragg was able to elevate the “falsification of business records” charges against Trump into felonies, a move that requires evidence that Trump attempted to conceal a second crime. Still others focused on the delay in bringing charges — six years after the core underlying conduct — and anticipated that Trump will seek to toss the case for exceeding the statute of limitations, despite the  assessment of some legal experts that the case is not time-barred .

As stated the statute of limitation ran out. Guess those only apply Democrats; and Hunter.

Also, this is a federal issue- and the FEC refused to charge.

Democrats and their two tier justice system. China, Russia, and every tin horn dictator in the world is watching with envy.

The justice Trump is going to receive in November is the complete and total REJECTION by the American people.

The only response a comment that is idiotic enough to use the term "Brandon" deserves is:

Maybe they should pull a "Summer of Love" and burn down the offending courts?

That would give Democrats/leftist tingles up their legs.

Unfortunately most Trump supporters work for a living. Which means they are unable to get away for spur of the moment protests. Unlike BLM/Antifa terrorists.

Maybe they can follow the example of the less violent lefties and simply "jump ship."

One day that was planned out well in advance as a protest; as compared to five months for the Summer of Love riots by BLM/Antifa.

Chaz lasted for 24 days; and covered several square blocks. Tell me those "mostly peaceful" protestors had jobs- other than extorting money from people who lived there and had to get in and out of their homes to work; and businesses that didn't want to be burned and looted.

Funny how Democrats/leftists never apologize for supporting these Domestic terrorists.

As long as they are peaceful and not trying to burn down courthouses like progressives did in 2020, who cares?
