We've found the "fake news" and it is Donald Trump, as David Pecker exposes all
By: Bill Palmer (Palmer Report)
Donald Trump has always made a point of yelling "fake news" at any news item he doesn't like, or any news outlet that dares to report on his scandals. But in reality it's Trump who is more dishonest than anyone else in politics or media, and now we have proof of this under oath.
Former national inquirer boss David Pecker testified at Donald Trump's criminal trial today that he and Trump would conspire to put out negative stories about Trump's 2016 political opponents. Some of these stories were true and just ugly, but many of them were false and ugly. Trump and pecker did this not just to Hillary Clinton, but also to each Republican candidate who was gaining in the primary polls at any given time.
So now we have a direct confession under oath from one of Trump's own co-conspirators that Donald Trump is indeed The primary source of "fake news" in politics, and has been all along. In fact, we now have confirmation that Trump helped manufacture, fake news as part of a criminal conspiracy to alter the outcome of a presidential election in his favor to use one of his other phrases, lock him up!
www.palmerreport.com← Score another one for President Biden
Ted Cruz should be pissed because Trump made up stories about him that were printed in the National Enquirer, but we know his lips are surgically attached to Trump's butt.
If one believes David Pecker this is clear cut. Trump is the king and emperor of fake news.
He might lose 3 or 4 MAGA votes over this bombshell.
Has absolutely zilch to do with this trial and the charges......................
Trump has been screaming "fake news" for the past 8 years. Now it comes out he was creating it to hurt his opponents.
That doesnt bother you ?
Ever hear of advertising against an opponent? Happens in most campaigns. Half truths are a part of the game.
And I guess one would have to consider The Enquirer a news source
Trump made up stories about his rivals and got a national publication to print them.
Only MAGA halfwits think this is meaningless.
And candidates tell half truths and get someone to film it and plaster it all over television and radio. WTF is the difference between the two?
Even assuming that what you claim is true, you don't know the difference between half truths and whole lies?
Donald considered the Enquirer worthy of a Pulitzer. It is more than likely his sycophants agreed with him as they do with the rest of the fakery he spews.
Half truths
You mean like Russia collusion? that a group of morons still think exists? because literally every news outlet printed it without evidence.
Is circulation still well under 1 million?
I worry as much or more about the effec ts of mainstream media, some examples:
Once again, reporters waited in line overnight to snag seats in the courtroom; news helicopters tracked his motorcade journey from Trump Tower to the courthouse in lower Manhattan; and cable networks carried the spectacle live on TV. The appearance demonstrated how deftly Trump has used his legal woes to benefit his campaign. The former president’s appearance drew far more attention than a standard campaign rally would have offered. And it gave Trump a fresh opportunity to rile up his base and gin his fundraising with claims that the cases he faces are nothing more than a coordinated attempt to damage his campaign.
"Jimmy Seagull"?
The Palmer Report calling someone else fake news..
Incredible.
The Palmer Report is an American liberal [2] fake news website , [3] founded in 2016 by Bill Palmer . [4] It is known for making unsubstantiated or false claims, [5] producing hyperpartisan content, [6] and publishing conspiracy theories , [7] [8] especially on matters relating to Donald Trump and Russia. [14] Fact-checkers have debunked numerous Palmer Report stories, and organizations including the Columbia Journalism Review and the German Marshall Fund have listed the site among false content producers or biased websites. [15] [16]
Its more than the Palmer Report
JR, provide some links to real news sites to verify your story. It appears to be total bullshit.
Before I seeded this I checked MBFC to see if Palmer Report would be banned from NT . It is not.
Palmer Report has the exact same level of rating as one of the most popular right wing sources on this site
You do know anyone can edit wikipedia, right?
And which source do you imagine Wikipedia misrepresented in its entry on the Palmer Report?
Happy now ?
Tomorrows headline:
"Trump Mishandles Pecker: Fined $10,000.00 For Violating Gag Order."
…what comes around goes around.
Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Thousands of people were turned away from the Courthouse in Lower Manhattan by steel stanchions and police, literally blocks from the tiny side door from where I enter and leave. It is an armed camp to keep people away.
Maggot Hagerman of The Failing New York Times, falsely reported that I was disappointed with the crowds. No, I’m disappointed with Maggot, and her lack of writing skill, and that some of these many police aren’t being sent to Columbia and NYU to keep the schools open and the students safe. The Legal Scholars call the case a Scam that should never have been brought. I call it Election Interference and a personal hit job by a conflicted and corrupt Judge who shouldn’t be allowed to preside over this Political Hoax. New York Justice is being reduced to ashes, and the World is breathlessly watching. Hopefully, Appellate Courts can save it, and all of the companies that are fleeing to other jurisdictions. They can no longer take a chance on New York Justice!
all lies
Sounds like maybe a dozen magats probably showed up
Hmmm, The Palmer Report ... not a source I would ever use.
Michael Cohen passed along Trump's wishes to Pecker, requesting that fake news stories be created about Trump's political opponents.
That is the testimony no matter who the media source is.
IF this is true, IF, how is this any different from the steele dossier? It isn’t.
What does that have to do with this?

Ted Cruz Pressured to Turn on Donald Trump
Aila Slisco 4-5 minutes 4/23/2024
Republican Senator Ted Cruz is being pressured to turn on former President Donald Trump after former National Enquirer published David Pecker testified that he helped Trump's 2016 campaign by manufacturing fake stories about Cruz.
Pecker made the remarks at Trump's hush-money criminal trial in New York City on Monday and Tuesday, testifying that he helped the then-future president win the White House by agreeing to publish negative and false stories about Cruz and his other political rivals before the 2016 presidential election.
According to Pecker, Cruz, his fellow Republican Senator Marco Rubio and Ben Carson —all of whom were running against Trump for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination—were targeted by the fake stories, as was former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton , Trump's eventual general election opponent.
After purportedly agreeing to the plan during a 2015 meeting at Trump Tower, Pecker said that he helped manufacture stories that falsely claimed Cruz had multiple mistresses and attempted to establish a link between the senator's father and the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy.
While Cruz lashed out at Trump for repeating the Kennedy story at the time, calling him a " pathological liar " who "doesn't know the difference between truth and lies," he went on to endorse Trump and has repeatedly praised him with little criticism since 2016.
In posts to X, formerly Twitter , Cruz was mocked by critics on Tuesday for alleged cowardice in failing to fight back against the ex-president.
"Can you imagine how little self-respect you have to have to endorse, support, and praise the man who did this to you?" former federal prosecutor Ron Filipkowski wrote while sharing an image of one of the fake Cruz stories.
"This is what I keep thinking," sportswriter Jeff Pearlman wrote in response to Filipkowski's post. "@tedcruz has perfected shamelessness."
"Team Trump was personally placing articles in The Enquirer accusing @tedcruz of infidelity," posted Tommy Vietor, an ex-spokesperson for former President Barack Obama . "Will the world's saddest cuck actually stand up for himself and his family this time? I think we know the answer..."
"Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz will probably put out a joint statement of support for Trump today," former Clinton campaign staffer Josh Schwerin wrote .
"So, Ted, how does it feel to find out from David Pecker that he colluded with Trump to trash your campaign in 2016?" posted @ShePersisted001. "LOL, makes you want to run right out & stump for him, eh?"
"Will yellow bellied coward Ted Cruz still support Donald Trump," @jaredziimmer wrote. "The answer is probably yes."
Newsweek reached out for comment to the office of Cruz via email on Tuesday.
Cruz told NBC News on Tuesday that he was "not interested in revisiting ancient history" after being asked about Pecker's testimony.
During the 2016 campaign, Trump repeatedly referred to Cruz as "Lyin' Ted" and offered regular insults for the Texas senator before securing the GOP nomination, including ridiculing his wife Heidi Cruz over her appearance.
Tuesday was far from the first time that Cruz has been mocked for failing to stand up to Trump in the years since they ran against each other, having previously been called " emasculated " and a " coward " for his unwavering deference to the ex-president.
In a 2022 Saturday Night Live comedy sketch , a fictional version of Cruz invited Trump to "hit me, choke me, spit in my mouth" after apologetically backtracking on calling the pro-Trump rioters who participated in the January 6 Capitol attack "terrorists."
