Voters in new poll say they're not very familiar with President Joe Biden's domestic spending initiatives

Voters in a new poll say they are not familiar with President Biden's domestic spending initiatives, with many sharing that they know nothing at all about major laws that have passed during this administration.
The Politico-Morning Consult poll asked voters how much they had seen, read or heard about the four major domestic policy laws — the 2021 American Rescue Plan, the 2021 bipartisan infrastructure law, the 2022 CHIPS and Science Act and the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.
Regarding the American Rescue Plan, 34 percent of voters responded "none at all" when asked how much they've seen, read or heard about it; 30 percent of voters had the same response about the infrastructure law, 44 percent for the CHIPS and Science Act and 24 percent for the the Inflation Reduction Act.
A slim minority said they've seen, read, or heard "a lot" about the laws — 11 percent for the American Rescue Plan, 14 percent for the infrastructure law, 9 percent for the CHIPS and Science Act and 17 percent for the Inflation Reduction Act, according to the survey.
Sunday marked six months until Election Day, and Biden faces a messaging challenge to convey his accomplishments to voters.
The president is currently polling neck and neck with former President Trump, according to The Hill/ Decision Desk HQ's latest average of polls.
The Politico-Morning Consult poll was conducted April 27-28 and included 1,974 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 2 percentage points.

To American media it is more important to talk about how old Biden is than to explain his accomplishments to the public.
Well, we live in a degraded country and all, so maybe the press is reflecting what people want to read about.
What accomplishments?
It is a 24hr news cycle, Bidens accomplishments won't get us to the first commercial break.
Should have told them to look at their grocery bill to understand Joe Biden Spending Initiatives.
They don't exactly roll off the tongue, though, do they?
They're also pretty vague and boilerplate-like.
American Rescue Plan? Rescue from what? Anybody remember needing rescuing? Anybody feel rescued now? I don't.
Bipartisan Infrastructure Law? Is that a name or a description? Isn't government always spending money on stuff? How often has it changed your life? Whatever this is, it's not exactly the CCC or the Interstate Highway Act, is it?
Science Act? Again, I don't have a clue what that means and neither does anyone else. Anyone suddenly feel like Science is a strong, new influence in their lives? I don't.
Inflation Reduction Act has to be named ironically. Have you seen the price of eggs? Gasoline? Going out to dinner? All prices are forever going up, while wages and savings fail to keep pace, and government keeps finding new ways to tax us. I'd maybe keep silent about the Inflation Reduction Act. If you have to find a way to convince people that their economic circumstances have improved, then they probably haven't.
What they are familiar with since Biden came to office:
- cumulative inflation up 18%
- 40 year high month to month inflation rate
- record gas prices
- 25 to 35% higher utility costs
- 20 to 30% higher insurance cost
- 130% higher mortgage rates
- 20 to 30% higher food costs
- and the list goes on
There isn’t enough pandering in the world that can save Biden. Only a useful idiot would vote for that shuffling clusterfuck.
