The Democrats didnt run Biden out, the national media did. They have hounded the man 24/7 for almost a month now. No 81 year old could withstand such a diarrheic onslaught.
The media, and I am talking about the three major networks, cable news , and major newspapers have been missing in action over this period in terms of contrasting Biden with Trump. The truth is the media doesnt care if a traitor gets back in office, or a crook, pathological liar, or a mentally ill asshole. Some of the media , you NBC, was actively cheering on the recent GOP freakshow convention.
Van Jones , the both sidesing turd who passes for a political commentator on CNN, just said to the effect of " what if the new Democratic candidate has some skeletons in their closet that would cost them the election?"
My God, the nominated GOP candidate has skeletons in his closet , or rather out in the open, the size of the airplane hangar of a Boeing 757 assembly line.
The country is more ill served by the mainstream media right now then I can ever recall in my 74 years on this earth.

What did we hear 10 minutes later? All about Biden. There was almost no broadcast media discussion of Trumps ridiculous speech.
Trump's speech was mediocre. He rambled too long, like politician's do It was completely unnoteworthy, just like 99% of convention acceptance speeches are.

It was bizarre. The excuse for that abomination is that "he is always like that". That may be an explanation that MAGA embraces, but no one else should.
Trumps "logic" is, "i'm an unhinged lying asshole every day of my life, but since I am like this every day of my life why should it bother anyone".

Crooked Joe Biden is the Worst President, by far, in the History of our Nation. He has done everything possible to destroy our Country, from our Southern Border, to Energy Dominance, National Security, International Standing, and so much more. He was annihilated in an Earth Shattering Debate, and now the Corrupt and Radical Democrats are throwing him overboard. He was not fit to serve from the very beginning, but the people around him lied to America about his Complete and Total Mental, Physical, and Cognitive Demise. Whoever the Left puts up now will just be more of the same. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

And that's why the Democrats, despite all the noise being made, must nominate Harris as the Democrat candidate. That now almost $50 million added to the $91 million already in the campaign coffers can only be used by Harris if she is on the ticket. If the DNC ends up with someone else at the top of the ticket the campaign loses all that money.
Anyway you look at it, the Democrats are in a tough position with only 104 days to present new candidates and gain the votes. Can they do it? Time will tell. As we've seen on this site, there are some who will vote Democrat regardless of the candidates just as there are some who will vote Republican regardless of the candidates. But can she earn enough votes to succeed?

The democrats are endorsing Harris. That includes, Shapiro, Newsom and Whitmer.
On the other hand the corrupt asshole Joe Manchin is threatening to "run" against Harris at the convention.

They'll praise Biden for being a "patriot." Patriotism now meaning he took the golden parachute when given the choice of resigning or being fired. Then it will turn into days of praising Kamala Harris as the greatest hero imaginable to women, though she got her start in politics by sleeping with a married power broker 30 years older than her.
Truth and trust in the media died with Walter Cronkite. The internet has taken over the flow of misinformation, disinformation and outright lies, and the ignorant public laps it up.
