You might notice if you glance at these search results one striking thing ---  there is no "Democrat Party".  There is a Democratic Party.

A search for "Democrat Party" comes with no results that read "Democrat Party".

And yet as we know just about every single conservative these days says Democrat Party.  How did that happen?

It is a way to show clear disrespect and SEEM to stay within established norms.

In 1956, another Republican functionary, L. Richard Guylay, the RNC’s public relations director, made it the Republican Party’s “official policy” “ to refer to the opposition as the ‘Democrat  party’ ” because “Democratic as an adjective is not descriptive of the party as it exists today.” He insisted that GOP speakers exclusively use what one newspaper called this “disrespectful epithet.” (By 1956 this was a common line in the media—that Republicans were being rude in not calling their opponents by the name of their choosing.) Every speech at the Republican National Convention that year was vetted to remove any mention of the “Democratic Party.” Reporters noted that the text of two-time former Republican presidential candidate Thomas E. Dewey’s address that was circulated to press contained “two smudges where party staffers had erased ‘ic.’ ” An editorialist in Oregon said that “ it sounded to us like they were sneering or at least leering ” when they used the phrase. The GOP  platform  that year referred variously to “Democrat administration,” “Democrat 84th Congress,” and “Democrat programs.”

...Tracing the history of the phrase helps us understand how the Republican Party has defined itself by what it was not. The phrase has always been about “othering” the Democratic Party, but the meaning of the slur has shifted significantly in politically telling ways.

Why Republicans say “Democrat Party”: The history of an insult. (slate.com)

I think a more appropriate description today would be the Progressive Party. I don't know what is democratic about its present form and ideology.

Since the former Republican Party is nothing more than a con job, I think a more appropriate description would be the RepubliCONs, or the Con Job Party.

I also like Replicant Party which describes bots and humanoids.  Appropriate.

When I referred to them as republicons in the past, it earned me a ticket.

Some don't like the truth here.

What does it say that Republican Trump voters consider it a nasty, dirty, shameful and insufferable slur to be referred to as "MAGA"?

As a conservative and someone who wants America to be Great. I am personally offended when liberals and democrats use the idea of America being great as a slur and demeaning action. Why do liberals want to make or even keep America mediocre at best.

I don't know what is democratic about its present form and ideology.

Your comment suggests that you need to do some research on the topic.

I noticed the seed failed to mention in the history of the democratic party the slave holding southerners, the party of the KKK, the party of Jim Crowe, the party of being anti civil rights, the party of “you can be whatever gender you feel”.
Can’t believe Bing left that out s/
