Donald Trump's Racist Campaign
Trump recently he said that he is going to visit Springfield Ohio and he's not sure if anyone will ever see him again. The dogwhistle is that the Haitians of Springfield are cannibals and they might eat him. Most Haitians are very dark skinned.

I just heard Charlie Sykes say something I hadnt really been thinking about but it certainly has the ring of truth. "Donald Trump has moved on from Mexicans" and is now focused on Haitians. Trump recently he said that he is going to visit Springfield Ohio and he's not sure if anyone will ever see him again. The dogwhistle is that the Haitians of Springfield are cannibals and they might eat him. Most Haitians are very dark skinned.

The Haitians of Ohio are also here legally, with protective status having been given to Haitian immigrants about a decade ago. Their journey is hardly different from immigrants throughout American history that came from profoundly troubled countries , such as Eastern Europeans after world war two. The difference is pigmentation.

I have a suspicion that racism toward those people in Springfield Ohio is doing well in Republican internal focus groups. What else could explain the demented concentration by Trump and Vance on Haitians?

Trump is leaning in on this topic for a reason. And you can see it in the photo.

Hundreds of Haitians should show up at his rally if he goes to Springfield. Get in the front and let him tell them to their face that he is deporting them.

Sounds like a nice campaign ad for Harris.

I hate to say it, but I think our conservatives have nothing to say on this subject.

Haitian group in Springfield, Ohio, files citizen criminal charges against Trump and Vance

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The leader of a nonprofit representing the Haitian community invoked a private-citizen right to file charges Tuesday against former President Donald Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, over the  chaos  and  threats  experienced by Springfield, Ohio, since Trump first spread  false claims about legal immigrants there during a presidential debate .

The Haitian Bridge Alliance made the move after inaction by the local prosecutor, said their attorney, Subodh Chandra of the Cleveland-based Chandra Law Firm.

Charges brought by private citizens are rare, but not unheard of, in Ohio. Examples might be a grocery store charging a customer for a bounced check. State law requires a hearing to take place before the affidavit can move forward. As of Tuesday afternoon, none had been scheduled.

Trump and Vance, a U.S. senator from Ohio, are charged with disrupting public services, making false alarms, telecommunications harassment, aggravated menacing and complicity. The filing asks the Clark County Municipal Court to affirm that there is probable cause and issue arrest warrants against Trump and Vance.

“Their persistence and relentlessness, even in the face of the governor and the mayor saying this is false, that shows intent,” Chandra said. “It’s knowing, willful flouting of criminal law.”

Of course he is. These Haitians are vulnerable and 'right out of central casting (from a "shithole" country) for a response.  They have relatively no or little political power and influence, so 'they' check the box for Donald!

He can exploit their vulnerable presence here as something (1) Biden's administration lends into. . . .thus, it is bound to excite the base which is worried and angered by the stories of (2) replacement of whites in "small-town" America. It's a tale about  (3) People of Color coming to take over white "spaces" as in the browning of America and why (4)  GOPers 'demand' control over the wombs of women. . . especially white women (from whom some GOPers desperately want more numbers of themselves).

OMG...I think the Haitians have better palates than wanting to eat a stale, old dude. Can you imagine the amounts of gristle on that old dude?
