Vice President Harris has agreed to sit for an exclusive interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, the network announced Monday.
The interview will air Wednesday at 6 p.m. during the network's "Special Report" newscast and be conducted from the battleground state of Pennsylvania.
This week's appearance marks Harris's first sit-down interview on the network ever and comes just weeks before the Nov. 5 election.
Polls show an incredibly tight race between Harris and former President Trump that is expected to come down to the results in seven swing states.
Harris has been working to shore up support with male voters and Black men in particular. But she has also sought to carve off some conservative voters who may not want to back Trump.
It's the latest in a series of high-profile national media interviews Harris has sat down for in recent days, including visits to ABC's "The View" and "The Howard Stern Show."
Trump, meanwhile, has appeared on a number of conservative podcasts and internet shows in addition to his regular appearances on Fox, and over the weekend he teased a potential chat with popular podcaster Joe Rogan.
Harris has for weeks been pressuring Trump, who frequently appears on Fox, to participate in another debate — an offer the former president has repeatedly declined.
Now lets see Trump go on MSNBC.
The View would be better.
Difference is Brett Baer will be fair to Harris, Joe and company will make many attempts at gotchas and make false accusations of Trump.
The facts are almost never on Trumps side, that is why he hides in right wing media.
Yes because Newsweek is a far right publication.
So is Time
And add AARP to that list
Don't forget about the National Association of Black Journalists.
'gotchas and false accusations'
I just watched a sit down interview with Trump where he insists that although there were some "strange events"
on 01/06, his Sunday afternoon was basically peaceful, and that's how he remembers the whole day. 'peaceful'.
Sunday afternoon? I was at work when that happpened. I don't work on Sundays
Well I see the correlation between Trump calling one of the hosts a nasty bitch a few days before that event,
then complaining that she was unfriendly at the NABJ interview.
De ja Vu.
And while we're at it, let's not forget to add Sports Illustrated to the list! (Especially The Swimsuit Issue-- as totally "Marxist" as that might be I really do enjoy that one!)
He's such a nasty little bitch when called on his hate.
The difference is Bret Baier has credibility and she will be treated fairly. You can't say the same of anyone on MSNBC and the View is a joke
She must be running very scared to agree to it though.
Has Trump had a mainstream media interview this year? I dont know of any but maybe you can find one.
Does the NABJ count?
You are right. I forgot about that debacle.
Hold on. I’ve been hearing Harris is too scared to do interviews. Then, when she does interviews, we hear the interviews are too friendly because she’s too scared to do Fox News. Now that she’s doing Fox, it’s because she’s “running scared.” How many times are we going to move those goalposts?
Give it some thought. She was not going to interview on fox. Now she is. What changed?
She knows internal polls show she is losing.....badly.
Exactly
She wasn’t? How do you know? What specifically do you know about it?
My point stands. You’re going to call her “scared” no matter what she does.
Probably cause she is..
Cuz you say so? Thanks. Now we all have wisdom.
You're welcome
So, she wouldn't do a debate on Fox with Fox News anchors as moderators or an interview with Times but suddenly she'll sit down for an interview with Fox, of all networks? Now?, when she seems to have plateaued... I agree with the opinion that she's getting anxious.
The logic here is supposed to be that she is falling in the polls (allegedly) and she thinks going on Fox News - where she allegedly believes she would do poorly - is the answer. That’s the argument I’m seeing here. That’s nuts.
I am? Thanks for letting me know.
She would stay a mile from fox if she didn't think she had to go for some reason. At least she will get an unbiased interviewer on the "Far right " network.
Who said that. She will get a fair shot with Baier. If she does poorly that is all her.
Pretzel logic.
You’ve let all of us know with your words. If you feel you have been misunderstood, you’re free to clarify your position.
Everyone who thinks she was too scared to go on Fox. Do you not understand the accusations you make? Are you just parroting someone else?
Well when you got a lot of dough...make pretzels!
She actually getting desperate because she knows she is going to lose. And that scares her.
Who is the one ducking interviews??????? Who is scared?????????
or very confident.
Last night Trump turned a Q & A session with Kristy Noem into a sing along fest because
"who needs to hear any more questions"?
I've been hearing the same thing for weeks.
That she never did an interview at all!
You do realize there were two medical emergencies during the rally, right.
I can only imagine your reaction if he continued taking questions during those emergencies.
I saw a report that they fainted.
My guess is that Trump was confused and didnt know what to do and after the first song started to play he decided he wanted to dee jay.
Doubtful...
More believable story is he waited for EMTs to care for those people and just played music to give the audience something to listen to and the EMTs room to do their job.
Did you see the 40 inch flat panel TV they were using as a teleprompter?
( because actual teleprompters are a bad look apparently )
Someone got a picture of it where it says "Please take two more questions before starting any music" in an adult supersized font.
Trump ignored it.
Krist Noem appeared to freeze as EMT's entered the hall.
After twenty minutes as the EMT's wheeled out the second patient, Trump asked "if anyone else needed to faint".
He reiterated that people were tired of asking questions and to keep the music going.
Over the next 19 minutes most of the crowd left.
The people trapped on and around the stage looked like they were in pain while Trump seemed to enjoy a few Karaoke moments.
Naturally, Trump's playlist included YMCA by Isaac Hayes
which has an injunction against the Trump campaign and a lawsuit for $3 million
to prevent the campaign from using that song and the "Hold On" song at official Trump events.
After two rally members needed medical attention. What's the deal there? After the audience said they wanted more questions, that's when he said to play more music and then 'who needs to hear any more questions'
YMCA is an Isaac Hayes song???
Why didn't he call off the event, whatever the fuck the event was supposed to be, and why did they faint? Was it hot indoors? No air conditioning?
Like at Coachella when he stranded all those maga in the desert?
There was one woman there with a toddler and an infant - said she was doing her best to keep them cool - in the desert?? What the huh? Brought their children to a maga event?
Do you think that attendees fainting at rallies is rare?
No, you?
An ex Senator said on TV that people have been passing out or getting sick at Trump rallies for 9 years.
It s a matter of numbers, events and an older base.
Dozens were injured by faulty lighting on one side of the stage at the RNC.
Trump rarely acknowledges these distractions.
So either you are complaining that she is doing the interview or isn't? Can you folks pick a direction and go with it for once? When is trump doing another debate, or 60 Minutes for that matter?
The complaints and accusations are clearly fake. Some people are programmed to hate anything the other side does.

You can't say the same of anyone on MSNBC
Actually I can say whatever I want!
So there!
Yep, I recall McConnell voting against his own bills when found out Obama liked them. That's some next level partisanship.
Can you name any?
Of course, as long as you feel comfortable to say things that aren't true.
She was not going to interview on fox. Now she is. What changed?
As is the lame ass defense some are spouting for Kamala, the same person that was one of the first to drop out of the 2020 presidential race and now is simply wonderful
As the one that made a lame accusation "You’re going to call her “scared” no matter what she does." it is up to you to prove it, not me to defend it.
Source?
So what? You’re just throwing shit at the wall, now, hoping something will stick. But you have no point. Plenty of presidential candidates have dropped out of a race only to end up being the front-runner or nominee in a later year.
You already proved it with your words. I have invited you to clarify your remarks or position, but you have demurred. I am not surprised.
Don't think they remember she "dropped out" because she got NO votes, NO support from her party, and was publicly embarrassed during the "Debates" - and now, all of a sudden, she's their "Poster Child".
Jjjjeeezzzzzz.
They are trying their best to get Americans to forget what a failure she was in the primaries and what a failure she has been as vp by making her a victim of of all the people that won't forget
Are you really suggesting she would be agreeing to an interview three weeks before an election, on a place she never has before if she wasn't afraid things were slipping away?
Did I say anything that was not true? Of course it won't stick on the wall for people that are bending over backward trying to protect Kamala but it is a valid point worth some thought to others.
Now if you can point out which of the plenty were given their post in part by DEI and were nominated without a primary and we would at least be talking about apples and apples.
Only to those biased and needing to protect Harris by lame accusations that can not be proved or disproved
My remarks don't need any clarification to those that can read it without any bias or trying to make any criticism of Harris about the person doing the criticizing. To those people expecting a defense or "clarification" that is their problem, not going to make it mine.
Mitch McConnell's amazing filibuster of his own bill
Parliamentary procedure is as baffling and dull to most people as it is important to our legislative process. But the Senate gave us a very watchable — interesting, even — little civics lesson on Thursday, when Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) filibustered a bill he had introduced only hours earlier.
McConnell's miscalculation is amusing, but it also tells us something about the larger issue: The showdown over the fiscal cliff, says Greg Sargent at The Washington Post . This was "the first major test we've seen of whether Dems will remain united" behind Obama, and they passed.
Mitch McConnell's amazing filibuster of his own bill | The Week
I'm not the one who made an unsupported claim. You said she was not going to interview on Fox. When was that announced?
Yeah, I thought not. Like I said, I'm not surprised.
Moving the goalposts, I see.
Maybe first, you can explain how an elected official - people had to vote for her - could possibly be related to DEI. I'll save you the trouble. There is no connection.
Frosty recalled McConnell voting against his own bills when found out Obama liked them.
Your example doesn’t meet that criteria. It wasn’t Mconnel’s bill, it was Obama’s. McConnell introduced it to see how many Dems supported it.
Thank goodness she won’t be another Ronnie Raygun who had to run 4 times before he won.
Reagan ran in 76 before winning in 80. Biden lost twice before wining his third campaign.
Reagan lost both the 68 and 76 republican primaries. I thought he ran in the 72 primary but after thinking about it he decided not to.
Your right, I forgot. He ran the same number of times as Biden before winning.
It didn't have to be announced. Are you really suggesting she would be agreeing to an interview three weeks before an election, on a place she never has before if she wasn't afraid things were slipping away?
Of course you should not be surprised when someone doesn't want to play a game.
Just calling you out for trying to compare apples and oranges
Yeah, when you’re in the business of making shit up, I guess facts don’t matter.
Is that why Trump does interviews? Because he’s afraid things are slipping away? See, most of us understand that’s just how campaigns are run. You talk to as many people - and demographics - as you can.
Of course she go no votes. She stopped her campaign in December 2019, before the first primary, citing a lack of funding.
Ah hell, ya beat me to it.
You should probably read the article.
I almost felt sorry for the people on stage - - they couldn't really escape and the looks on their faces - priceless - WTF????????????
There was another person who fainted tonight at the Obama rally in Arizona.
Obama pointed it out for the EMTs and thanked them for the quick response.
And continued speaking to the crowd without missing a beat
but kept his eyes on the action and waved when they exited.
After he ran away from 60 Minutes? Unfortunately Trump won't interview anywhere that will fact check him.
Big difference between fact checking and editing your answer to something you did not say.
After what 60 minutes did to help kamala it looks like donald made the right choice
According to Trump's own campaign, he refused the interview because of the fact checking. And he wanted an apology from Lesley Stahl for something she never did.
You understand that Kamala is sitting down to an interview with FoxNews, right??? The same FoxNews that had to pay out almost 800 million dollars for actively lying and supporting Trump last election.
Nothing 60 Minutes has done can possibly compare. Trump is just simply a mentally deficient coward.
She flatly denied that Biden had an issue with his son's laptop because she claimed it couldn't be verified. That was false.
Trump was right and Stahl was wrong.
Wrong. They alleged that the machines were rigged and lost.
You do realize the interview is with Bret don't you? He will give her fair questions.
What 60 minutes did for kamala is way worse than anything Bret will do
How did it help Kamala, did it sway you to vote for her? /s
One could argue poor editing or the fact that 60Minutes on Youtube has different directors than 60 Minutes and Face the Nation.
For whatever reason, two included the bolded Harris response and one did not.
Nope, that's not what he wanted an apology for.
They did way more than allege. Simply alleging would not have cost them almost 800 million dollars.
Does he work for FoxNews?
He will give her questions that FoxNews can spin to Trump's advantage.
If it defamed them it sure as hell would FFS
Harris falls flat on her face through no ones fault but her own, the parrots on the left will scream that Baier was unfair and baited her, or whatever else they will try to use to degrade him.
They know no other tactic.
def·a·ma·tion
/ˌdefəˈmāSHən/
noun
the action of damaging the good reputation of someone; slander or libel
Simply making an allegation does not rise to the level of slander or libel.
She looked pretty damned good in the debate.
On the other hand, Trump can't even handle FoxNews interviews anymore.
The court disagrees with you.....................rightly so.
I don't think you two were watching the same debate
'He's just a mean, petty, juvenile SOB.'
That moron saying someone/anyone else is stupid, WOW.
If someone hasn't said something-- how can you quote them on that?
No, the court disagrees with you.....................rightly so.
Here, read it and let me know if you need further clarification
Reaching a settlement doesn't mean the court disagrees.
The court agreed that FoxNews went beyond simple allegations, and actively promoted the misinformation.
Therefore, defamation. Yes, they agreed and had there not been a settlement, it would have gone to trial and the judge surely would come to the defamation finding.
Stahl, and CBS, have not apologized for denying that Biden had an issue with his son's laptop because she claimed it couldn't be verified. That was false.
Trump was right and Stahl was wrong.
How would that work since they are showing the interview in its entirety? Seems like some are making pre-emptive excuses in case harris makes a face plant
Again, that is not what they wanted an apology for. But keep trying to spin it.
If Trump and his boot licking sycophant supporters want to go on shows that fact check in real time, perhaps he should just stop lying. Oh, wait, that's right, he can't stop lying because if he did his entire political empire that has been built on lies would come tumbling down. No wonder he doesn't want to accept interviews from media companies that fact check. And the 60 minute interview, did they edit any lies or anything actually relevant from the Harris interview? Of course not, in fact, we all got to see both the long and short answer to the question asked.
Actually that is exactly what Trump wanted an apology for. But by all means continue to ignore it.
“Actually that is exactly what Trump wanted an apology for.”
So demanding apologies rather than expressing policy, even if it is only conceptual, is the best he and his can do? Well, there is always a dance party to be had.
Yes, they changed her answer for her to make her seem coherent.
That took a LOT of overtime work I'll bet.
Trump is a coward and his handlers are hiding him due to his mental decline, that's obvious.
Can you even say, 5 times trump has ever apologized to anyone for the shit that flows out of his mouth?
Funny when people that insisted Joe was fine talk about Trumps mental ability.
He either has dementia or he's retarded, you pick .
I will choose whatever gets clinically proven. Let me know when that happens.
The endless defense of the indefensible is soooooooo tiresome.
The former 'president' wants an apology
What the fuck for???????????????????????????
I think he's mentally retarded - no offense ever to those folks who have other challenges - but I really believe that his IQ would be essentially uneducable
That would be cruel to that poor old man.....lol
NO EDITING!!
To be honest, there might be edits, but the edits will not change the answer that was originally given.
Good point. Guess I should have specified "no CBS style edits" LOL
"There were no preconditions to get the interview. No one has the questions ahead of time —except me. No topic is off the table. And if there is any editing -it will be very minimal for timing and will be editorially the same question and answer -we are pre taping the interview right before my live show Wednesday in Pa."
How will y'all contrive your conspiracies under those circumstances?
I'm sure that something will come to them.
Just like 60 minutes...
Thank you for that opinion.
Fact not opinion. I refer you to comment 1.3.8.
Three different "shows", three different directors, two versions.
Then what that shows is the inability of different people failing to get together and coordinate one answer.
Afterall, they are all under the CBS umbrella, correct?
I'm pretty sure it falls under editorial freedom of the press.
The fact that CBS shared the original footage is what one would expect.
Controlling the narrative like North Korea is the opposite of real journalism.
Wonder - seriously wonder if any of the media would actually put her feet to the fire? 'Specially on "their/her" economic policies???
Facts?
Sorry - didn't record all the news clippings making those statements. Also notice that most of the "quotes" in this thread have not been "cited" - so somebody's feelings are hurt???
And all of what I've listed has been accomplished in only 3 1/2 years - wow - what an administration - and some actually want to vote in their favor?????
Plenty of facts listed - check'm out by using Google or Safari or Foxfire - easy to do.
You need to provide the facts you said to look at
Plenty of lies and exaggerations and mischaracterizations.
The most factual were in the list of layoffs but the reasons listed by the companies I checked listed COVID
as the reason for their bankruptcy or reorganization as reasons for the layoffs, not Harris.
Your inflation numbers were exaggerated by 60%
Your Harris policies are a fantasy.
Some were Biden policies and some were positions she held 5 years ago or longer.
Some pretty far right partisan manure you were spreading there,
without citations?
and now it's too much to do correctly?
...
Is it colder in the Winter or in the Mountains!
Now you know Democrats are really worried.
every patriotic person in this country should be worried that trump might get back in office
How 'bout defining what you mean by "Patriotic" 'cause I know quite a few folks who are "Patriotic" and they don't meet what you are implying.
Thanks for the information-- I hadn't known that previously!
Whoa-- wait a minite!
My bad!
Truth be told-- I hadn't known that previously-- and I still don't know it!
(In fact, if anything-- it proves that Democrats are now pretty confident-- if they were actually worried she woudn't do that, eh?)

Trump Is Big Mad That Fox News Is Interviewing Harris
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump , increasingly prone to temper tantrums and outbursts of violent rhetoric as the election nears, railed against his former stomping grounds, Fox News , after the network announced that his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris , had agreed to an interview.
While Trump himself has been ducking out of any opportunity to answer hard questions, including a second debate with Harris ( he resoundingly lost the first one ) and a 60 Minutes interview with CBS, he has spent much of his time and energy hyperfocused on fear-mongering about immigration , repeating his desire to be a “ dictator ,” and insulting Harris over the amount of media attention she has been getting. Harris, meanwhile, has taken numerous opportunities to speak on a variety of different platforms including interviews with radio host Howard Stern , 60 Minutes , the popular Call Her Daddy podcast hosted by Alex Cooper , and the upcoming Fox News interview with chief political anchor Bret Baier.
Trump raged against Harris, Baier, and the conservative network on social media Monday, and lamented, “Kamala Harris has wisely chosen Bret Baier, of FoxNews, to do a much needed interview, because he is considered to be ‘Fair & Balanced,’ though often very soft to those on the ‘cocktail circuit’ Left.” The former president accused Fox of becoming “so weak and soft on the Democrats, constantly polluting the airwaves with unopposed Kamala Representatives, that it all doesn’t matter anymore.”
Despite Trump’s bitter sentiments about the network, he appeared on Fox News on Sunday for an interview with Maria Bartiromo during which she gave him free rein to spout baseless lies and failed to follow up with him when Trump floated using military forces against U.S. citizens who oppose him on Election Day. Unsurprisingly, Trump praised the Fox host for doing a “beautiful job,” while berating “one-sided, negative Democrats” for calling out his fascist plan.
Trending
Harris is set to sit down with Baier on Fox News Wednesday in Pennsylvania during the host’s Special Report at 6 p.m. ET. This will be the Democratic presidential candidate’s first formal interview on the network.
Baier previously interviewed Trump in 2023, during which he asked the former president about his alleged mishandling of classified documents after leaving the White House. During the televised sit-down, Trump essentially confessed to stealing and sharing top-secret government information post-presidency. Trump’s Fox appearance at the time came a week after he was arrested and arraigned on criminal charges in the federal probe over his hoarding of the classified material.

I don;t think he's writing these tweets. I think his henchman Steve Yeung is writing them
And I apologize. It's Steven Cheung. I think
Why bother apologizing? He's trash no matter how he spells his name.
AHA!
There is nothing Democrats or Harris could do that they wouldn’t try to turn into something scandalous or derogatory. Everything is fake or a cheat. Everything she does is because she’s afraid of some other thing. It’s beyond pathetic. It’s psychotic.
Exactly!
(Personally I would never vote for a psychotic person for president-- but apparently "that's just me"! )
Harris puts pant suit on one leg at a time! Why can't she pull up her pants two legs at a time like real Americans?!
Harris brushes her teeth every night before bed! Why can't she brush her teeth once a week and rely on Hillbilly dentistry like real Americans?!
Harris has a vagina! Why can't she have a penis like every previous President of the United States of America? Why God, why?!?
Harris hasn't been convicted of even one felony; how can we trust a candidate that hasn't been convicted of at least three dozen felonies?!? It must be the 'Deep State' protecting her from prosecution!!
In the spirit of balancing the scales, Fox should edit Kamala's answers to make her look dumber, who am i kidding they couldn't make her look and dumber than she already is.

Someone touchéing a dead horse ... again?
proof reading failure...
Hilarious. I'm thinking it was less a proof-reading error and more of a grammar and reading comprehension level issue.
She probably shouldn't have agreed to this, just on principle. Fox News should be rejected and shunned after knowingly and intentionally furthering Trump's election lies. They're not a reputable news organization. They're a for-profit propaganda outlet that discovered they could make billions by actively manufacturing rage to keep their ratings high, and the malicious toxicity of many of their hosts has contributed greatly to the division in this country over the years.
But what if it's a sexy principal...
This seed is a straight news story. Objecting to the source of a straight news story is fruitless and pointless.
I would like to see the interview tonight on Fox, but since I have a smart TV I can't get any of the Harris/Walz press coverage.
So true...
She is just rambling on avoiding as many questions as she can and only 10 minutes into the interview.
She is avoiding desperately her failure of a border policy
It is obvious her plan is to talk as much as she can so Baier can't ask as many questions that would make her look stupid as she is.
Baier kept asking her about her plans and her policies both on the past and what she wants to do if she is elected and all she could do was deflect to Trump.
What was brought up after the interview was she said "you are responsible for what happened during your administration".
That sentence alone opened her up to great ridicule because she has taken zero responsibility for the failures of her administration.
She hasn't been elected to "her administration" yet.
It kinda is now that Joe has been booted out of the picture, but if nitpicking about something like that is all you have, I have no worries about any other argument.
That would be a surprise to the ILW strikers that went back to work, or Zelinsky who just got more ammo from
us, or Netanyahu who was just threatened with less ammo even while we bolster their air defense by putting
1,000 American troops in Israel.
Joe did that, not Kamala.
The dumb bitch even agreed to a show time of 5 pm with 25 to 30 minutes of interview, but her team then changed it to maybe twenty minutes.
She then showed up at 515 knowing the interview would have to be rushed and nowhere near the number of questions that were ready for her would be asked.
She knew she was going to get her ass handed to her even before she walked in the door.
Yea....OK
He probably doesn't even know about those events.
Except for the fact that he announced them...sigh.
Reading words form a teleprompter and actually knowing what you are reading are two different things.....sigh
Actually last night's rally turned into a music listening party which had no visible teleprompter.
Instead they a 40 inch flat screen tv on the floor between Trump and Gov Noem.
Trump ignored it when someone typed "Please take at least two more questions before starting the music."
You just read my mind regarding teleprompters.
A fine example of chauvinism: baselessly labeling a woman a 'bitch'.
And calling someone 'dumb' pretty much suggest the critic is substantially smarter. So the critic would have achieved the equivalent of a J.D. degree, passed the (difficult) California bar exam, became a successful prosecuting attorney, elected district Attorney of San Francisco, twice elected Attorney General for California, elected as the Junior Senator from California, selected and elected as V.P.
So what are the qualifications / achievements of this critic who has the gall to call this woman dumb?
Lol...

Donald Trump is a moron.. I think that word could be "moron" or “idiot.” Trump isn’t “vague” or “careful” or disinclined to “delineate his stance.” He’s wildly, catastrophically, incontestably out of his depth. He’s not “light”; he’s dull. He’s not a “dodger”; He’s a fool. He’s not “joyful”; He’s fucking imbecilic.
So, leftists use crap like Salon and try and pass it off as legitimate
You need a progressive pundit to tell you national review leand right?
But since bias matters so much to you, here's the same author attacking Trump. Right wing sources actually criticize their own.
