Vice President Harris has agreed to sit for an exclusive interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, the network announced Monday.

The interview will air Wednesday at 6 p.m. during the network's "Special Report" newscast and be conducted from the battleground state of Pennsylvania.

This week's appearance marks Harris's first sit-down interview on the network ever and comes just weeks before the Nov. 5 election.

Polls show an incredibly tight race between Harris and former President Trump that is expected to come down to the results in seven swing states.

Harris has been working to shore up support with male voters and Black men in particular. But she has also sought to carve off some conservative voters who may not want to back Trump.

It's the latest in a series of high-profile national media interviews Harris has sat down for in recent days, including visits to ABC's "The View" and "The Howard Stern Show."

Trump, meanwhile, has appeared on a number of conservative podcasts and internet shows in addition to his regular appearances on Fox, and over the weekend he teased a potential chat with popular podcaster Joe Rogan.

Harris has for weeks been pressuring Trump, who frequently appears on Fox, to participate in another debate — an offer the former president has repeatedly declined.

Now that she’s doing Fox, it’s because she’s “running scared.” How many times are we going to move those goalposts?

More believable story is he waited for EMTs to care for those people and just played music to give the audience something to listen to and the EMTs room to do their job.

Did you see the 40 inch flat panel TV they were using as a teleprompter?

( because actual teleprompters are a bad look apparently )

Someone got a picture  of it where it says "Please take two more questions before starting any music" in an adult supersized font.

Trump ignored it.

Krist Noem appeared to freeze as EMT's entered the hall.

After twenty minutes as the EMT's wheeled out the second patient, Trump asked "if anyone else needed to faint".

He reiterated that people were tired of asking questions and to keep the music going.

Over the next 19 minutes most of the crowd left.

The people trapped on and around the stage looked like they were in pain while Trump seemed to enjoy a few Karaoke moments.

It s a matter of numbers, events and an older base.

Dozens were injured by faulty lighting on one side of the stage at the RNC.

Mitch McConnell's amazing filibuster of his own bill

Parliamentary procedure is as baffling and dull to most people as it is important to our legislative process. But the Senate gave us a very watchable — interesting, even — little civics lesson on Thursday, when Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.)  filibustered  a bill he had introduced only hours earlier.

McConnell's miscalculation is amusing, but it also tells us something about the larger issue: The showdown over the fiscal cliff,  says Greg Sargent at   The Washington Post . This was "the first major test we've seen of whether Dems will remain united" behind Obama, and they passed.

You understand that Kamala is sitting down to an interview with FoxNews, right???  The same FoxNews that had to pay out almost 800 million dollars for actively lying and supporting Trump last election.

Nothing 60 Minutes has done can possibly compare.  Trump is just simply a mentally deficient coward.

How did it help Kamala, did it sway you to vote for her? /s

One could argue poor editing or the fact that 60Minutes on Youtube has different directors than 60 Minutes and Face the Nation.

For whatever reason, two included the bolded Harris response and one did not.

WHITAKER: We supply Israel with billions of dollars in military aid, and yet Prime Minister Netanyahu seems to be charting his own course. The Biden-Harris administration has pressed him to agree to a ceasefire. He's resisted. You urged him not to go into Lebanon. He went in anyway. Does the U.S. have no sway over Prime Minister Netanyahu?

HARRIS: The work that we do diplomatically with the leadership of Israel is an ongoing pursuit around making clear our principles.

WHITAKER: But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.

HARRIS: We are not gonna stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.

WHITAKER: Do we have a, a, a real close ally in Prime Minister Netanyahu?

HARRIS: I think, with all due respect, the better question is, do we have an important alliance between the American people and the Israeli people, and the answer to that question is yes.

Harris' answer (bolded above) shared similarities with another answer featured in the other version broadcast on "Face the Nation" and the "60 Minutes" YouTube channel, when she said the words, "and we're not going to stop in terms of putting that pressure on Israel and, and in the region, including Arab leaders."

The sentence does not change the tone or fabric of the interview.
People who think she's not worthy, still think so.
Trump's calls for CBS to be stripped of its license only reinforce his dementia and fascist reactionism.
This is just another tempest in a teapot created by our more radical warriors on the right.

If Trump and his boot licking sycophant supporters want to go on shows that fact check in real time, perhaps he should just stop lying. Oh, wait, that's right, he can't stop lying because if he did his entire political empire that has been built on lies would come tumbling down. No wonder he doesn't want to accept interviews from media companies that fact check. And the 60 minute interview, did they edit any lies or anything actually relevant from the Harris interview? Of course not, in fact, we all got to see both the long and short answer to the question asked.

Republican presidential nominee   Donald Trump , increasingly prone to   temper tantrums   and outbursts of   violent rhetoric   as the election nears, railed against his former stomping grounds,   Fox News , after the network announced that his opponent, Vice President   Kamala Harris , had agreed to an interview.

While Trump himself has been ducking out of any opportunity to answer hard questions, including a   second debate   with Harris ( he resoundingly lost the first one ) and a   60 Minutes interview   with CBS, he has spent much of his time and energy hyperfocused on fear-mongering about   immigration , repeating his desire to be a “ dictator ,” and   insulting   Harris over the amount of   media attention   she has been getting. Harris, meanwhile, has taken numerous opportunities to speak on a variety of different platforms including interviews with radio host   Howard Stern ,   60 Minutes , the popular  Call Her Daddy   podcast hosted by  Alex Cooper , and the upcoming Fox News interview with chief political anchor Bret Baier.

Trump raged against Harris, Baier, and the conservative network on social media Monday, and lamented, “Kamala Harris has wisely chosen Bret Baier, of FoxNews, to do a much needed interview, because he is considered to be ‘Fair & Balanced,’ though often very soft to those on the ‘cocktail circuit’ Left.” The former president accused Fox of becoming “so weak and soft on the Democrats, constantly polluting the airwaves with unopposed Kamala Representatives, that it all doesn’t matter anymore.”

Despite Trump’s bitter sentiments about the network, he appeared on Fox News on Sunday for an interview with Maria Bartiromo during which she gave him   free rein   to spout baseless lies and failed to follow up with him when Trump floated using   military forces against U.S. citizens   who oppose him on Election Day. Unsurprisingly, Trump praised the Fox host for doing a “beautiful job,” while berating “one-sided, negative Democrats” for calling out his fascist plan.

Trending

Harris is set to sit down with Baier on Fox News Wednesday in Pennsylvania during the host’s   Special Report   at 6 p.m. ET. This will be the Democratic presidential candidate’s first formal interview on the network.

Baier previously interviewed Trump   in 2023, during which he asked the former president about his alleged mishandling of  classified documents  after leaving the White House. During the televised sit-down, Trump essentially   confessed  to stealing and sharing top-secret government information post-presidency. Trump’s Fox appearance at the time came a week after he was arrested and arraigned on   criminal charges   in the federal probe over his hoarding of the classified material.

Hilarious. I'm thinking it was less a proof-reading error and more of a grammar and reading comprehension level issue.

She probably shouldn't have agreed to this, just on principle. Fox News should be rejected and shunned after knowingly and intentionally furthering Trump's election lies. They're not a reputable news organization. They're a for-profit propaganda outlet that discovered they could make billions by actively manufacturing rage to keep their ratings high, and the malicious toxicity of many of their hosts has contributed greatly to the division in this country over the years.

This seed is a straight news story. Objecting to the source of a straight news story is fruitless and pointless.

I would like to see the interview tonight on Fox, but since I have a smart TV I can't get any of the Harris/Walz press coverage.

She is just rambling on avoiding as many questions as she can and only 10 minutes into the interview.

She is avoiding desperately her failure of a border policy

It is obvious her plan is to talk as much as she can so Baier can't ask as many questions that would make her look stupid as she is.

Baier kept asking her about her plans and her policies both on the past and what she wants to do if she is elected and all she could do was deflect to Trump.

What was brought up after the interview was she said "you are responsible for what happened during your administration".

That sentence alone opened her up to great ridicule because she has taken zero responsibility for the failures of her administration.

It kinda is now that Joe has been booted out of the picture, but if nitpicking about something like that is all you have, I have no worries about any other argument.

That would be a surprise to the ILW strikers that went back to work, or Zelinsky who just got more ammo from

us, or Netanyahu who was just threatened with less ammo even while we bolster their air defense by putting

1,000 American troops in Israel.

Joe did that, not Kamala.

The dumb bitch even agreed to a show time of 5 pm with 25 to 30 minutes of interview, but her team then changed it to maybe twenty minutes.

She then showed up at 515 knowing the interview would have to be rushed and nowhere near the number of questions that were ready for her would be asked.

She knew she was going to get her ass handed to her even before she walked in the door.

“Isn’t it nice to have a guy that doesn’t need a teleprompter, a president, a potential president that doesn’t need a teleprompter?” Trump asked supporters moments after fixing his teleprompter. Trump, after mocking Harris over teleprompter use, stops rally to remove sign that fell on his (yahoo.com)

Actually last night's rally turned into a music listening party which had no visible teleprompter.

Instead they a 40 inch flat screen tv on the floor between Trump and Gov Noem.

Trump ignored it when someone typed  "Please take at least two more questions before starting the music."

The dumb bitch ...

A fine example of chauvinism:  baselessly labeling a woman a 'bitch'.

And calling someone 'dumb' pretty much suggest the critic is substantially smarter.   So the critic would have achieved the equivalent of a J.D. degree, passed the (difficult) California bar exam, became a successful prosecuting attorney, elected district Attorney of San Francisco, twice elected Attorney General for California, elected as the Junior Senator from California, selected and elected as V.P.

So what are the qualifications / achievements of this critic who has the gall to call this woman dumb?

B: 70% of voters think the country is on the wrong track. you've been in office for 3/1/2 years. Why are they saying that?

H. Donald Trump has been running for office...Cackles... You know what I'm talking about..

B:(speaking for America): I have no idea what you are talking about.

Just incredible...

She proved this article correct, for sure:

Kamala Harris is an idiot.. I think that word would be “idiot.” Harris isn’t “vague” or “careful” or disinclined to “delineate her stance.” She’s wildly, catastrophically, incontestably out of her depth. She’s not “light”; she’s dull. She’s not a “dodger”; she’s a fool. She’s not “joyful”; she’s imbecilic. As Gertrude Stein once said of Harris’s hometown, Oakland, there’s no “there there.” She’s a nullity, a vacuum, an actress, an empty canvas that is incapable of absorbing paint. Search through Harris’s historical press clippings and you will be astonished by the vastness of space, for, in more than two decades of analysis and reporting, Harris has not once been credited with a single valuable or original idea. What you see on TV is what you get in private: a broken battery-operated toy that can’t talk, that can’t argue, that can’t laugh in the right places, and that badly malfunctions if expected to transcend the superficial. Asked  by Stephanie Ruhle  what would happen to her plan to “raise corporate taxes” and make “billionaires and the top corporations” pay “their fair share” if the “GOP takes control of the Senate,” Harris seemed unable to process the concept. “But we’re going to have to raise corporate taxes,” she replied. “And we’re going to have to raise — we’re going to have to make sure that the biggest corporations and billionaires pay their fair share. That’s just it.”

RIGHT BIAS

These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy.   See all Right Bias sources.

  • Overall, we rate the National Review Right Biased based on story selection that always favors the right and Mostly Factual in reporting due to a few misleading claims and occasional use of poor sources, and one failed fact check.

Donald Trump is a moron..   I think that word could be "moron" or “idiot.” Trump isn’t “vague” or “careful” or disinclined to “delineate his stance.” He’s wildly, catastrophically, incontestably out of his depth. But since bias matters so much to you, here's the same author attacking Trump. Right wing sources actually criticize their own.
