What we see here is a citizen asking Trump, directly, about his inaction on the afternoon of Jan 6th, and Trump immediately changing the subject.

Trump answers the mans questions for seven minutes of rambling, "weaving" , and lying, but never says why he didnt take action during the riot.

He knows he's guilty as hell.

He is not fit to lead this country.

The man who asked the question told an interviewer afterwards that he came into the townhall undecided but was now definitely not voting for trump.

In that "confrontation" the Trump's response was that no one died on January 6, well Ashley Babbit died but

"we didn't have guns, they had guns".   We versus they?

In a new book, Mitch Mcconnell (R), in 2020 called Trump despicable, he was fired and is even worse after losing. Today he said there is only one winning team seemingly indicating he still supported the former POTUS.

Wow.

Trump cancelled an NRA event for OCT 22.  Without Trump's appearance, the NRA scrapped the event for the 2nd Amendment.

Trump has been on a cancellation tear, pulling out of several planned interviews in recent days.

Per CNN’s   Brian Stelter,   Trump reportedly “suddenly scrapped” a planned interview with NBC News senior business correspondent Christine Romans penciled in for Monday morning in Philadelphia. He had previously   cancelled   a stop by CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” citing another purported scheduling conflict.

The cancellations follow a “60 Minutes” interview which Trump   unexpectedly pulled out   of two weeks ago. That move followed another appearance where Trump seemed somewhat lost.

The diminished campaigning schedule is sure to raise eyebrows as critics question whether the 78-year-old former president is fit to continue campaigning at a competitive pace.

We versus they?

Sure, you know "they" - the police. He says this like the police were actually some armed, radical leftist mob.

To be accurate, the man asked him three questions, not just one. Why didn't he act on Jan 6? Why didn't he respond better to Covid? and How does he react to all of the people who used to work with him not supporting him now?

On January 6, he says all those people showed up, not because of Trump, but because they believed the election was rigged. He makes no mention of the fact that they got that idea from him.

Funny moment on that at about 35:20, they pan the audience and Trump says "Ashley Babbitt was killed, nobody was killed," and this lady does a double-take like "wtf did he just say?"

Then he says, "we didn't have guns; the others had guns." By "others," he can only be referring to the police. He's mad the police had guns??

At 35:35, they show the questioner, and Trump says "that was a day of love," and the dude reacts like, "are you fucking serious, right now?"

...

On people not supporting him, he pulled a number out of his ass. He claimed 97% of the people in his administration support him. Yeah, ok. jrSmiley_88_smiley_image.gif

...

Then he starts rambling about Biden, the border, and some made up bullshit. He never said anything about Covid.

Yes he asked him three questions. The man specifically asked him why it took so long for Trump to act while the riot was going on. I appreciate the mans question but the truth is Trump never acted according to his duty.  He did send out a tweet asking people to be peaceful, long after he knew they were fighting with cops.  He did not make a single phone call or query to any law enforcement agency or the Department of Defense to instruct anyone to help at the capitol. Eventually Mike Pence did.

None of the three questions the man asked were about the border or the economy, but Trump included both those topics in his answer.

“…but Trump included both those topics in his answer.”

Weaving…more swerving, totally self-serving, entirely unnerving.

97%

I think it was 40 out of 44 former cabinet members...did not support him.

Maybe his Wharton calculator is broken?

Have you noticed how J.D. Vance seems to have dropped off the radar?  He's such a disaster that the Trump campaign buried him.

Sometime yesterday JD Vance said that the 2020 election was rigged against Trump.  He is swirling down the toilet bowl of credibility.

[ ] He's all over normal media and hosting rallies. From the last few days:

MEanwhile, the Richard Simmons/Elmer Fudd combo the democrats nominated made news for not having a clue how to load "his" gun, and not knowing what a venture capitalist is.

The New York Post does feed the propaganda needs of low information types, but since when do reactionaries think of the New York Times as "normal" media?

The New York Post does feed the propaganda needs of low

[] ABC (it's one of the main networks) hosts a public affairs program on Sunday Morning called This Week. Martha Raddatz interviewed JD Vance on Sunday. It's a popular source for people who don't believe blueanon conspiracy theories. It made news, which is why the New York Post covered it.

think of the New York Times as "normal" media?

[] I [] consume media like the Sunday talk shows and New York times, so I'm well aware that Vance is not being "hidden."
