ABC's The View continued the post-Election Day conversation on Monday, and co-host Ana Navarro had a message for President Joe Biden now that he was a lame duck: "Pardon Hunter."

Narvarro, a supporter of Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, was dismayed by the criticism Biden was receiving from his fellow Democrats after Harris's loss, especially Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). But now that he wasn't going to be beholden to voters or his party, Navarro proposed that he use his presidential pardon powers for Hunter Biden, who pleaded guilty to three felony tax offenses and was convicted of three felony gun charges. President Biden previously said that he would not pardon his son:

Look, we will never know if the result would have been different had Biden stepped off earlier. We will never know if the results would have been different if he had stayed in. We will never know if the results had been different if there had been an open primary. What we do know is that Biden is in there for the next two and a half months. And this is what I'm going to tell Joe — Joe, since they're talking smack about you anyways, you know what? Maybe pardon Hunter. Pardon Hunter because we, basically America just pardoned a criminal who was convicted of felonies.
America just elected a man who pardoned Jared Kushner's father, who set up his brother-in-law with a hooker and then sent the pictures to the sister because they were in the midst of a fight over the parents' money. … He's probably going to pardon some of the folks from January 6th, those insurrectionists. So, you know what? It's your son. He probably wouldn't have been prosecuted if his last name wasn't Biden. Baby, you got two and a half months. I'm good with you pardoning Hunter.

Why not? It will make Trumps head explode. He is obsessed with Hunter Biden the laptop and all that crap.

Give him a taste of his own medicine.

Why not?

It's not like Trump didn't pardon all his friends and cohorts while he was POTUS.  A number of them will probably received another pardon after being arrested again since the pardon.

And even the most extreme MAGA on this forum would never be able to claim, with a straight face, that Trump would have even allowed an investigation to take place on any of his kids.

Have any of them been federally charged. I can only think of the GA and AZ state charges which Trump can't pardon for.

Don't know.  Saw an article that at least 9 of the Trump people that had been pardoned, had been re-arrested for other charges.  Didn't read any deeper into the article though.

Exactly.

And don't forget that he has promised to pardon over a thousand insurrectionists.

Since we now live in a country with no standards of behavior for public figures, just do it Joe.  You'll feel better in your dotage.

He should absolutely pardon his son, you know trump would do it for his kids in a second.

He is going to , in effect, pardon himself in a couple months.

I was under the impression that's not possible.

Ending the J6 prosecution is the equivalent of pardoning himself, I think.

Papa promised not to pardon him.    He’ll just commute his sentence.

Liberal doublespeak.

Just a couple of days ago, KJP reiterated that Biden will not pardon Hunter.

If he does, it will simply be yet another expected lie from him.

What would really blow a leftist mind is if Trump pardons Hunter.

Biden should go ahead and pardon Hunter.

He likely does not remember that he averred that he never would pardon his son.

It will be a surprise to both Bidens

Very funny Robert. You have a great sense of humor, something seriously lacking with some here.
