Jared Kushner's Felon Father Named US Ambassador To France
Witness tampering is the kind of crime that is particularly immoral and the French will pick up on that. Stealing money is a normal criminal endeavor. Most criminal endeavors are about stealing money. But it takes a personality which is more complexly criminal, shall we say, to go the full nine yards and not only plan and commit the crime but then decide to mess with witnesses, juries, all that.

The French Will Mock “Loathsome and Disgusting” Felon, Salacious Ambassador Charles Kushner

Ursula Faw 2-3 minutes   11/30/2024

I lived in France for a semester in college and so I have some feeling for the sensibilities of the French. My prediction is that they will be howling over this. Charles Kushner, you have undoubtedly heard by now, has been appointed as the next ambassador to France, by his son’s father in law, who pardoned Kushner when he was president before. This is going to be written up salaciously. This is the kind of weirdo mix of sex, crime, and politics that will titillate the French sensibility — or the sensibilities of anybody normal. This will mark the first time a convicted felon has been the French ambassador from the United States. Or any country.

Kushner was convicted of tax evasion and he pled guilty to the things he was accused of. That’s what makes it a trifle bizarre that Jared Kushner hates Chris Christie, who was the prosecutor who put Charles Kushner away, but there you have it. Walk down memory lane with Christie now.

The French will be howling at what America has become. And they won’t be alone. The fact that Trump is sending his ex-convict in-law, a convicted felon, a total crook, as the French ambassador, will have people smirking right and left all up and down the continent.

We will never recover our stature on the world stage. Or, because I hate to say “never” let’s just say it’s going to take a very long time and a lot of changes and those won’t happen overnight.

And are you ready for some comedy? Charles Kushner initially supported Nikki Haley for president in 2024. But then he donated to Trump, naturally, as did they all.

Charles Kushner, 70,   graduated   from Hofstra University in 1979 and joined his father Joseph Kushner in real estate, later forming Kushner Companies in 1985 while acquiring properties in New York, Pennsylvania and Florida.

By the early 2000s, Kushner Companies had become one of New Jersey’s largest apartment owners and the firm had a portfolio spanning 25,000 units.

In 2005, Kushner was   sentenced   to two years in prison after pleading guilty to 16 federal counts of filing false tax returns, one count of retaliating against a cooperating witness and one count of making false statements to the Federal Election Commission.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who served as the lead prosecutor in the federal case against Charles Kushner,   alleged   the real estate mogul had assisted in filing false tax returns claiming over $1 million in charitable donations as office expenses, causing between $200,000 and $325,000 in losses to the IRS.

While pleading guilty, Charles Kushner also admitted to paying a prostitute $25,000 to lure his brother-in-law to a New Jersey motel room and film them having sex, with the recording then being sent to the man’s wife, Kushner’s sister, to intimidate him as he cooperated with investigators.

Trump   pardoned   Charles Kushner in 2020, saying he had become “devoted to important philanthropic and organizations and causes” since being released from prison in 2006. Why Charles Kushner—Trump’s Pick For Ambassador To France—Is So Controversial

The felony charge happened 20 years ago and he served his prison time, which was a year and a half on a two year sentence because of good behavior and he has not had a conviction since (the prison time seems to have done the trick).  Trump removed the felony due to a pardon, which is his right to do, for his SIL.

It is only controversial to those that want people to believe every of Trumps picks is controversial.  Most people can't even name Ambassadors to different countries, much less have an opinion about them.

If Mother Teresa were still alive, and he nominated her for Secretary of health and human services, they would be describing her as a religious fanatic.

Yep. I remember Democrats saying exactly that when Bill Clinton tampered with witnesses in his perjury case.

Oh wait..

He'll be upset that you won't be voting for him 30 years ago.

This appointment stinks to high heaven and Republicans are going to defend it.

Is there anyone in this administration who is not a felon? If so, it seems like at least the “not felon” list is probably shorter than the “felon” list.

Is there anyone in this administration who is not corrupt?    Probably a better hit but still a sickening answer to behold.

Do you think this house of cards built on sand will hold up until the midterms? I think it will only be months before Trump throws at least one of his picks under a bus.

I wonder if he even knows how to speak French.  I would think it to be sort of important for that particular position.

They probably will, and it will be quite fitting, since the appointment stinks like a bad fart.

If you want to empty the room try pickled eggs and Genesee cream ale.

Clowns to the left, Jokers to the right, here we are, stuck in the middle with them. Not enough room to fit all the negative words describing the appointment atrocities we are seeing flaunting complete disdain for the American rule of law. Criminals should not be in the White House, no appointee to any position should have a criminal background. It is a total slap in the face to Republican voters who say they want law and order. Republicans do NOT want law and order if they are willing to throw every law enforcement officer under the bus and confirm criminals. Republicans are literally backing the criminals, not backing the law.

They do but they want people of color who commit violent crimes prosecuted. Not their rich, white friends who commit white collar crimes
