I have ordered the Inauguration Address, in addition to prayers and other speeches, to be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda, as was used by Ronald Reagan in 1985, also because of very cold weather. The various Dignitaries and Guests will be brought into the Capitol. This will be a very beautiful experience for all, and especially for the large TV audience!
I don;t see anything wrong with this except it's going to be very crowded. It will be bone chilling cold that day and hypothermia is a real possibility. But you have to laugh at his "large TV audience".
Maybe the dude in the shaman headgear will do an encore for the inauguration celebration.
The crowd outside would have been so thin Trump would have had trouble spinning it as the biggest crowd in the history of humanity. Now he can say "what would have been".
Even though I'm a Canadian, I'm familiar with the Capitol Rotunda. I've been to Washington D.C. three times in my life. The first time I was a teenager and went there with my parents. The only thing I remember from that trip was standing in front of the statue of Lincoln, reading the words, and thinking how overwhelmingly magnificent that memorial was. The second time was when I was in my early 30s to attend the Festival of American Folklife which was held on the boulevard in front of the Smithsonian, and I particularly remember watching and listening to Doc Watson and his son playing guitar and singing. The third time was when in my early 60s I was a member of the International Board of Governors of Variety Clubs International, the Show Business Charity in Washington for a board conference. We stayed at a famous hotel but I forget the name of it, had a tour of the White House and it took some effort on my part to not applaud when the tour guide talked about the White House being burned during the 1812 War, and we had a tour of the Capitol Building and I recall being in the Rotunda and hearing the guide speak about the spot where whispers from anywhere in the rotunda could be heard. Maybe that's the spot Trump wants to stand in during the inauguration. However, my best memory of that trip was being driven by the notorious mayor Marion Barry in his little Mercedes 2-seater to his favourite restaurant for lunch. I think the only thing I regret not having done was a tour of the Smithsonian.

He would be nothing if it weren't for TV

Well, since they cleaned the shit off of the walls...
They will need to clean the occupied floor on inauguration day
Maybe trump will get locked in a closet with old mops and brooms.
This actually seems sensible. The weather forecast for that day sucks.
Why do we still do this in January?
Thus why we know, this is not the true reason. More likely the embarrassment of too few, than Trump worrying bout not enough freezin
Democrats vowed that Donald Trump could only return to the White House when hell freezes over.
Surprise!
I am sure trump will refund all the tickets that were sold... Not to worry... LMAO
