What this tells me is that American voters are easily swayed by crapola.

It shows us that the American voters were much wiser and more informed than you give them credit for. There were not swayed by the endless lies and un-Amercian crapola that was inflicted upon the American people by these unpatriotic progressive assholes and their puppet Biden.

One more day before the American people begin to wake up from this national nightmare!

I wonder how the voters feel about the tariffs threatened for Canada and Mexico, and what they will feel like when Mexico and especially Canada retaliate in ways that will hurt Americans, hard in lots of places, and especially with respect to China because of the much-increased costs of everyday items they need.  I wonder if the voters took those things into consideration.

Well if that is true, IMO it pays to keep in mind that polling doesn't determine elections-- votes do!

Yet the democrats lost the presidency, the house and the senate.

Probably should have done something the last four years besides lying about the presidents health, lying about the economy, intentionally flooding the country with illegal aliens, defending criminal illegal aliens from deportation and engaging in lawfare.

Unfortunately for the nation, it is near certainty that Trump will do harm to this nation that his supporters will experience.   They might not realize (or acknowledge) that the damage came from Trump.

If we do experience damage (and I fully expect this to be the case) one can only hope that this will translate into a midterm election cycle that produces a Congress that will not rubber-stamp Trump's wishes.

Trump can't do anymore harm to this nation and its citizens than the inept and corrupt Biden administration and its policies did.

That could be a large part of the voters electing Trump by a sizeable margin, winning the House and Senate, and even capturing the popular vote. What you mindlessly call Trump's wishes are the wishes of the American people. They've had enough of the left's progressive BS. The Dems need to get back in touch with mainstream Americans if they are ever going to regain any type of political power

Predictable and pointless.

What you mindlessly call Trump's wishes are the wishes of the American people.

Do you actually believe Trump is going to lower prices, generate tons of revenue with ridiculous tariffs to address the deficit and give tax cuts, deport all illegals, build his wall, end the Ukraine war while president-elect (well ... how about we change that to end the Ukraine war without forcing Ukraine to submit), etc. ?

Do you believe Trump when he says our nation is in disarray, the economy is shit, crime is rampant, etc. and that he is going to fix all this?

A key problem, Greg, is that too many people believe this traitorous con-man.   And that resulted in the main problem of the USA having as its face and voice, a vindictive, narcissistic, loose-cannon, irresponsible, pathological liar, demagogue asshole who is the only PotUS in our history to try to steal a presidential election with fraud, coercion, lying, and incitement.

How did the totally applicable descriptive Trump summary you wrote, somehow become something the GOP would defend till the end...? Weard

It is troubling that our nation is (demonstrably) capable of electing such a scoundrel to the presidency.   I would have never thought it possible.

The media never made clear all the policies that people liked in the polls were all Democrat policies that passed or were planned for future passage.

The non-stop right wing propaganda machine for years has conditioned Republican voters to follow lies and demonize Democrats in order to win elections.

Even if they were told all of these policies or accomplishments Republican voters refuse to believe the truth.

In blind polls where ONLY policies were presented, overwhelmingly voters checked yes to Democrat policies.

Now as the oligarchy assembles in DC and MAGA voters are just starting to see what's coming, they cannot spin these awful policies that are going to hit them fast like all of us and sorry but Democrats are not to blame.

"In blind polls where ONLY policies were presented, overwhelmingly voters checked yes to Democrat policies."
But when it came time to vote, they voters soundly rejected those Democrat policies. Why?
