Karine Jean-Pierre stresses peace as online talk of violence ramps up after Mar-a-Lago search
There is no place for political violence in this country.

Does this sound like a President who is in charge?  The official message is that Biden was completely out of the loop.  And a generic milquetoast condemnation of political violence doesn't inspire confidence in Biden's leadership.

A compliant press can publish all sorts of argle-bargle about Trump.  But Biden is supposed to be in charge now.  Blaming Trump won't excuse Biden's weakness.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday called for people to remain peaceful and said the White House condems any future "political violence" after former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago home was searched by the FBI.

Driving the news: Jean-Pierre was responding to a question about the possibility of violence amid online talk on pro-Trump forums, with some even calling for a "civil war," NBC reports.

What she's saying: "Our message is that [...] there is no place for political violence in this country," Jean-Pierre said.

  • "We would ask Americans to remain peaceful in this time again," she added. [Violence] is something that we condemn."

Of note: Jean-Pierre said the White House was not briefed on the search, but declined to comment any further, referring the media to the Department of Justice.

Blaming Trump won't excuse Biden behaving like an accidental President.  Who is really in charge?

So, who is in charge?  Who is running the government?

No, that's not the official message.

How about the fact that the far-right wing is clueless and prone to violence.

They proved that on1-6.

It wasn't the right wing that set every major city in America on fire in 2020 in order to shout at the sky.

If we're not going to blame Trump for the threat of political violence, we are we supposed to blame? No one in the Biden administration is promoting violence.

The official message is that Biden was completely out of the loop.

That's cute that they even remotely think Biden knows where he is let alone what's going on around him.

"We would ask Americans to remain peaceful in this time again," she added. [Violence] is something that we condemn.

They didn't seem to condemn it during the Floyd Riots.  I wonder what changed....

reading this , one thing popped to mind .

plausable deniability , or believable deniability if one wants .

if it goes south , and he wasnt "in the loop", how can he be blamed ?

others will take the heat and the fall.

Why should he have to deny something that he would not have been aware of?

President Biden learned of the trumpturd search when we did - when it came on the news.

The FBI is under no obligation to inform Biden of a search.

Seems the far-right just doesn't understand how government works.

No you're right, however given who's property was searched, I would be surprised is President Biden was made aware of the intent and request for a warrant.

DOJ sources are already calling it a spectacular backfire and trying to insulate Garland from the blame for the raid by claiming he did not approve it.

He insists, though, that Garland had no prior knowledge of the date and time of the specific raid, nor was he asked to approve it. "I know it's hard for people to believe," says the official, "but this was a matter for the U.S. Attorney and the FBI."

The blame game has already started

That the USAG knew nothing specific or gave approval to the head of his investigative branch for something like this is as unbelievable as the White House not having been briefed.

The raid on Mar-a-Lago was based largely on information from an   FBI   confidential human source, one who was able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents, two senior government officials told   Newsweek .
The officials, who have direct knowledge of the FBI's deliberations and were granted anonymity..

The lefts beloved "anonymous source".  We've seen how those work out for the Democrats.
