What is QAnon?

What is QAnon?
Conspiracies about a ruling-class of evil elites, aka the Illuminati, have been around for decades.

Leave a comment to auto-join group The Deplorables

The Deplorables

We are always hearing about this mysterious group QAnon. Most of us have no idea who they are, but if you watch leftist cable news, you hear about it and it is always used to smear Donald Trump.

Let's see:

Supposedly it all began in 2017, when an anonymous user put a series of posts on the message board 4chan. The user signed off as "Q" and claimed to have a level of US security approval known as "Q clearance". Again, I have to use the term "supposedly, the traffic on mainstream social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and YouTube has exploded since 2017, and indications are the numbers of members/believers may be in the thousands. The total population of the United States was 330,150,668 at the December 2019 Census, so "thousands" of kooks would be a tiny number. Normal human beings have little knowledge of this group, yet those on the left constantly talk about it.

What do they believe?

You name it!

Starting with "an evil cult ruling the planet."

Former President Donald Trump received his COVID-19 booster shot, and told supporters during an event in Dallas on Sunday. Hearing some boos in the audience, the ex-president dismissed them, according to video posted to social media. Speaking for the vast majority of Trump supporters, I welcome the announcement and that is the example we all want to follow.

The media focused in on a few boos.

For the reporters who felt the need to note the boos, all I can say is stop the hate and stop dividing the country.

So instead of praising the former President, the media focused on boos.

Google QAnon and note the news organizations reporting on it.

Many of those MSM articles are condemning a FOX talking head known as Tucker

Looks like the latest liberal tactic is to try to associate every Republican with some fringe group of nuts.

Looks like they learned nothing from Hillary's famous "deplorables" comment and instead are stupidly doubling down on it.

I think the elections in Virginia and New Jersey scared the hell out of them as far as the midterms go, plus add in all the Democrats resigning or running for other offices and you have the perfect liberal panic storm.

The total population of the United States was  330,150,668  at the December 2019 Census, so "thousands" of kooks would be a tiny number. Normal human beings have little knowledge of this group, yet those on the left constantly talk about it.

"a survey conducted by Citizen Data found that 62 percent of conservatives  believe in at least one core conspiracy theory born from the (Qanon) movement."

The media focused in on a few boos.

Because there were a lot of boos.

For the reporters who felt the need to note the boos, all I can say is stop the hate and stop dividing the country.

The refusal to accept the results of a free and fair election is dividing this country. Right wing conservative lies are dividing this country. The 62 percent of conservatives who believe in Qanon conspiracy theories are dividing this country. The large number of right wing conservative anti-vaxxers and ant-maskers who force themselves upon their community putting everyone else at risk are dividing this country, those continuing to defend and deflect for the violent Jan 6th insurrectionists are dividing the country. The MSM reporting on the loud "boo's" at Trump are simply reporting on the facts. They could have pointed out how we still have a losing candidate going around trying to rile up his supporters by continuing to tell lies about the election, denigrate our current administration and effectively spit on our constitution by still refusing to concede, but all they reported on were the clearly, loudly audible "Boooooo's!" that the Mango Mussolini clearly deserves.

I'll say. 2/3 of Democrats believe the Russian changed vote totals in 2016. Scary!

First, link? Second, nice moving of the goal posts, now it's "changed vote totals" that has to be proved, not just Russian involvement in the election, hacking State election databases, being given internal Campaign information by the Trump campaign chairman, Russian paying millions for fake social media adds, Russians hacking political party emails, Russians offering dirt on political opponents, the goal posts have been moved all the way to "changed vote totals", none of the rest matter to Russia loving conservatives.

From what I found, the poll back then showed seven in ten Democrats believe a member or members of the Trump campaign did something improper in their dealings with Russia before the inauguration, which was of course proven by the Republican Senate investigation.

No, they couldn't prove Trump himself was guilty of criminal conspiracy, but they found that Trumps campaign chairman did in fact have regular contact with a Russian intelligence officer and give him internal campaign information and says other Trump associates were eager to exploit the Kremlin’s aid, particularly by maximizing the impact of the disclosure of Democratic emails hacked by Russian intelligence officers. As pointed out by some Senators the report “unambiguously shows that members of the Trump campaign cooperated with Russian efforts to get Trump elected.” Maine Independent Sen. Angus King said the report was “not a hoax,” and “It’s just one more set of facts that’s hard to ignore.”

According to the report, which most shameless conservatives refuse to read or accept as fact, it says "Manafort’s high-level access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the Russian intelligence services, particularly Kilimnik, represented a grave counterintelligence threat,” which clearly shows that there was more than enough evidence for the FBI to investigate unlike what many whiny conservatives like to claim.

Are there any Democrats who, in the last 5 years, been trying to use that to put Hillary Clinton in the Whitehouse? Of course not, Hillary conceded the day after the 2016 election, something the desperately delicate and fragile Mango Mussolini could never admit to.

The refusal to accept the results of a free and fair election is dividing this country.

Would that be like starting a 4 year investigation into a duly elected president, based solely on the blathering's of the loser and her fictitious documents?

Conspiracy theories have been around long before anyone thought to call them Qanon.  These modern conspiracy theories are an outgrowth of the counter culture revolution that claimed government could not be trusted.

Grassy Knoll, CIA coverup, Area 51, anti-nuke, anti-vaxx, and 911 false flag, as examples, weren't conspiracy theories pushed by white supremacists, xenophobes, or even conservatives.  All these conspiracy theories came from the political left.  And what all these conspiracy theories have in common was that the government was lying and the government can't be trusted.

Even the 1619 Project is a counter culture conspiracy theory claiming the government has lied and can't be trusted.  The 1619 Project fits within the Qanon sphere.

What is Qanon?  Qanon is a counter culture movement that claims the government is lying and the government can't be trusted.  Any conspiracy theory that claims government can't be trusted fits within Qanon.  Why else would butt numb, brain dead, status-quo, establishment politicians consider Qanon a threat?  And the government cracking down on Qanon only validates the conspiracy theories claiming the government can't be trusted.
