After she was ejected from a theater in Denver during the performance of the "Beetlejuice" musical, the office of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) initially denied that she had been vaping during the performance, claiming that she was simply surrounded by smoke from fog machines.
However, according to The Daily Beast, now that incontrovertible video evidence has emerged of her vaping, the far-right congresswoman has admitted to it — and apologized.
"Whether it was the excitement of seeing a much-anticipated production or the natural anxiety of being in a new environment, I genuinely did not recall vaping that evening when I discussed the night's events with my campaign team while confirming my enthusiasm for the musical," Boebert said in a statement. "It's clear now that was not accurate."
The security camera footage showed Boebert not just vaping in front of a pregnant woman and rebuffing her request to stop, but singing and dancing disruptively in her seat. She can be seen flipping the usher off as she is led down the hall out of the venue.
"The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I'm truly sorry for the unwanted attention my Sunday evening in Denver has brought to the community. While none of my actions or words as a private citizen that night were intended to be malicious or meant to cause harm, the reality is they did and I regret that," Boebert continued, blaming her behavior on her "public and difficult divorce" and adding, "We know we will have to work to earn your trust back and it may not happen overnight, but we will do it."
All of this comes as reports indicate that Boebert's advisers are begging her to dial back her "nonstop combativeness" as she only won re-election last year by 600 votes and faces a tough battle next year.

Hey Razing .. albeit I do not know where exactly you live.. but I am familiar enough ish with Aspen to know that up to 10 ish years ago [I have not been to my Uncle's since 2012 - I think] there was a niche of established wealthy members of (R) in Aspen .. that is how I received the honor of meeting Sarah Palin in person .. In this video, it appears that somebody approached her during intermission to speak to her. At the end of intermission, she appears to be arguing with several nearby patrons. Later, once the performance had resumed, she acted like a fool (or was just her trashy self) again, and got booted.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has broken it off with her companion to the musical Beetlejuice after more than a week of headlines surrounding their chaotic date, which resulted in the pair being escorted out of the theater.
“All future date nights have been cancelled and I learned to check party affiliations before you go on a date,” said Boebert to TMZ on Monday — a reference to reports that her date Quinn Gallagher was a Democrat and that his bar had hosted drag shows.
She continued, “But all in all, you know, it was mostly a lovely time and, you know, I’ve taken responsibility for my actions. Would love to know how the musical ended and I encourage people to go and see it.”
Asked about her comment on checking the political affiliation of future dates, Boebert replied, “Well TMZ, I’m pretty sure you told the world I went on a date with a Democrat.”
“He’s a wonderful man,” she added, “and it was, um, it was a great time to go out, have dinner, and enjoy part of a show, and yeah, now it’s back to work, we’re here in D.C.”
Pressed on whether her relationship with Gallagher was now over, and whether the reports on his bar hosting drag shows had anything to do with it, Boebert said, “Nothing to do with anything anybody reported, but honestly, he’s a private citizen and, you know, we have peacefully parted at this time. Great man, great friend, and I wish him all the best.”
Boebert and Gallagher were escorted out of a performance of Beetlejuice the musical in Denver after several audience members made complaints about Boebert’s behavior. CCTV footage showed Boebert vaping in the theater, taking flash photographs, dancing, and getting extremely handsy with her date before she was asked to leave.
The congresswoman found herself in even more hot water after her spokesperson denied that she had been vaping in the theater and blamed the smoke on a fog machine. Soon after the statement, CCTV footage showed Boebert blowing her vape smoke into members of the audience in front of her.
Boebert apologized for her “unacceptable” behavior in a statement on Friday and blamed the incident on her “public and difficult divorce.”
