Unique "friends"

Unique "friends"
First Lady Melania Trump was secretly recorded in the summer of 2018 expressing her frustration at being criticized for her husband's policy of separating families who illegally crossed the southern border

We the People

How many have a friend, who is secretly recording you to profit from humiliating you?

Don't have one, you say?  You only need to be the wife of the man the radical left hates.

Yesterday the resistance anchor over at CNN found one. Her name was Stephanie Wolkoff.

And the interview went like this:

Notice t he woman who taped her ‘friend’ looks deeply uncomfortable, as though she already knows betrayal is not a good look.  The tape will never damage the reputation of Melania Trump, but it is just the latest in the never ending media assault on the President leading into the November 3rd election. As with Judas , the mark is on the betrayer rather than the betrayed. Looking at Ms Wolkoff's face, I believe she already knows it.

It is always sad when we cannot trust our friends to speak freely.

Then again this is the world of the left in 2020

It's more akin to a mob informant than a traitor to our nation. Patriotic Americans are not loyal to a President, we are loyal to the constitution.

That's true, because by the time she started recording her the Trump organization and Melania herself had already thrown her "friend" under the bus claiming the missing money and mismanagement of the inauguration funds was somehow her fault.

"Melania and the White House had accused me of criminal activity and publicly shamed and fired me and made me their scapegoat." At that point, the first lady was "no longer my friend," Winston Wolkoff continued. "She was willing to let them take me down, and she told me herself this is the way it has to be. She was advised by the attorneys at the White House that there was no other choice because there was a possible investigation into the presidential inauguration committee."

I wholeheartedly agree with her, Melania threw her under the bus, she had no reason to play nice after that. The fact that some dumb fucks can't see that and are making a stink about her not being "her friend" shows just how shallow and ignorant they really are.

No one in particular, just in general, the defenders of Trump are making a stink about her recording Melania and not about the contents of the recordings which show the real Melania in her own words. I don't give a shit if people think they were obtained surreptitiously, she had every right to do it and did it to protect herself from the lies and deceit coming from the Trump organization. Hopefully more and more recordings of Trump and Melania will come out and expose them for the criminal slime they obviously are. Claiming this isn't something a friend would do is just a smokescreen trying to deflect and defend from the contents of the recordings.

She probably deserved to be fired. The fact that she had already made this tape is proof of her bad character, the type of person who secretly tapes a friend during a personal conversation is not a moral person. Since she has proven she betrayed her friend first why would we believe she wouldn't steal money, maybe that's why she made the tape so she'd have some leverage in case her thievery was uncovered.

She hadn't made any tapes at that time, which is why we don't have the tape of Melania telling her that they had to do it on their attorneys advice.

Since she has proven she betrayed her friend first why would we believe she wouldn't steal money

Again, she was accused BEFORE she made any tapes. Your deflection and defense is full of shit, but I'm not surprised to what lengths Trump fans will go to in order to protect their dear Leader.

Agreed.

If you worked for a friend and saw some expenditures which didn't seem right and you brought that information to your friend of apparent extreme overspending where donated non-profit funds were being funneled back into your friends pockets through their businesses and your friend told you not to worry and then later you were informed you were being fired and investigated for the overspending and your friend feigned any connection and told you their attorneys said this was how it had to be, would you still consider them a friend? Might you start taking steps to protect yourself, maybe even secretly recording all future contacts and conversations with the friend who threw you under the bus? I wouldn't think you were of "questionable character" if that was the case, would you?

You have your opinion that you are entitled to just as I have mine. Please take note that I never said Trump acted like a saint because he certainly did not and was a jerk most of the debate. But in many instances Biden went out of his way to egg Trump on. He called Trump a clown on more than one instance as well as making other comments and insinuations. To me there was no clear winner in this debate as both acted less than startlingly and it was clearly a draw.

Melania Trump could have survived and even flourished if she had been seen as being a 'prisoner' in the Trump white house who didnt agree with what was going on but stayed for the sake of their teenage son or because she thought she could moderate her husband.

I have friends. Most of them will vote for Trump. I will not. They have helped me when I was in need - I have helped them. That's pretty much the way friendships are.

The Trump's don't really seem to have "friends" - they have transactional relationships that they exploit to their advantage. When the relationship is no longer to their advantage then they "hardly knew" that person. They will probably also sue them.

So it's not really surprising that their "friends" view them the same way - expendable.

Yes, back when Democrats were the conservatives and Republicans were the liberals. Prior to 1964...

We've been over this before. Pay attention this time!

"I’m working my ass off- on Christmas stuff that you know, who give a f*** about Christmas stuff and the decoration? But I need to do it, right?" - Melania Trump

Does anyone think the right wing media would have cared who taped that if it were Michelle Obama on the tape while she was First Lady? Do you really believe they would be defending her by saying the tape was secretly made by a supposed "friend" of Michelle so no one should listen to it or take it into account? I don't think there's anyone here who would disagree that this clip would have been run on Fox News daily and then brought back out each Christmas to claim how the first lady and her husband must really be Muslims who hate Christians and Christmas. In fact they'd likely just be repeating over and over the out of context clip saying "who gives a fuck about Christmas" and of course their viewers would buy right into the narrative. But when it's Melania and their dear Leader being exposed they circle their sad little white nationalist wagons and puff out their chests in faux indignation blaming the messenger.
