Texas Sen. Ted Cruz announced a bill that would create processing centers for the surge of migrants at the southern border in wealthy Democratic strongholds.

Cruz, who has vehemently denounced the Biden administration's approach to immigration, said Tuesday that the Stop the Surge of Unsafe Rio Grande Encampments Act would make Democrats "face the disaster of their policies and the humanitarian misery they are causing."
KAMALA HARRIS, DISASTER
Democrats need to face the disaster of their policies and the humanitarian misery they are causing.
That's why I've introduced a bill to create new ports of entry in places like Greenwich, Martha's Vineyard, Rehoboth Beach, and Palo Alto. #BidenBorderCrisispic.twitter.com/VaqYlbqXuT

"I am introducing this crucial legislation to alleviate the massive overload at the southern border by establishing new ports of entry in Democrat-led communities such as North Hero, Vermont, where Bernie Sanders spends his summers, and Martha's Vineyard, where Democrat elites host their cocktail parties," Cruz wrote.
"You see rich Democrats basically saying to Texas and the rest of the country, 'Oh, you silly people, you shouldn't worry about this,'" Cruz told Fox News. "And they say this while they're at their fancy enclaves, while they're wining and dining."
The legislation would make points of entry for immigrants in 13 "fancy enclaves," including California's Palo Alto, Yountville, and St. Helena in the Bay Area and Napa Valley regions, as well as Cambridge, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts, Block Island in Rhode Island, Governors Island and Scarsdale in New York, Rehoboth Beach in Delaware, and North Hero, Vermont.
"No one can defend this disaster if they see it," he said, referring to the 15,000 Haitian migrants who set up camp under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas, last month.
"They would be horrified, but they need to face the disaster of their policies," Cruz said, predicting that Democrats wouldn't consent to the plan "because they're perfectly happy being hypocrites."
Recent reports indicate that the Biden administration has flown nearly 2,000 underage migrants into White Plains, New York, a city roughly 4 miles from Scarsdale, since Aug. 8.
Officials encountered more than 208,000 migrants along the southwestern border in August, according to Customs and Border Protection data. That figure marks a slight decrease from a decadeslong high of 213,534 encounters in July, the data show.

Damn skippy. That ought to slow down the supposedly legal human trafficking of migrants distribution network of the Biden adminitstration.
I’m all for it. There are several towns here in coastal county California on his fine list.
send them feral cats to places that want them let in
And make sure Biden’s covid positive illegals are settled in those places in NY and Ca.
