This is getting ridiculous.............

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

Joe Biden's evidently declining health should be an issue of huge concern on both sides of the Atlantic. The US President's schedule on international trips is increasingly being curtailed by his advisers who fear that he is simply not up to the task. Biden skipped a major opening dinner with allied leaders at the recent Nato summit in Vilnius, citing a heavy workload, and spent less than 24 hours in London on his visit to the UK. What would normally have been a three-day state visit to America's closest friend and ally was shoehorned into a brief stopover, with just a 42-minute conversation with the British Prime Minister in Downing Street.

Biden's own team carefully limit his engagements, appearances and speeches, for fear that he will embarrass himself and the United States on the international stage. Biden's relatively brief visit to Windsor Castle earlier this month was a case in point, with King Charles III having to closely watch Biden's movements, clearly irritated by his meandering inspection of the Welsh Guards.

Biden's recent speeches at home and abroad have been littered with gaffes and gasp-inducing moments, including an address in Connecticut in June which he bizarrely ended with the words "God save the Queen, man!" When Biden speaks to audiences these days it's impossible to predict what exactly he will end up saying or how it will end. He is increasingly reduced to reading out carefully scripted answers in press conferences and has at times appeared to be muttering incomprehensibly in meetings, as he did in this week's White House sit-down with the President of Israel.

Biden's White House aides also have major concerns over his physical frailty, demonstrated by a series of potentially dangerous stumbles while boarding Air Force One in recent months. As Politico reported this week, the President is now using the "short stairs" to board the presidential plane, with just 14 steps as opposed to the traditional 26. This was the case on all his flights to European capitals in early June, involving stops in Britain, Lithuania and Finland. Biden has declared he is running for another four years in office, which would take him to the age of 86 at the end of a hypothetical second term, but he is already struggling to stay on his feet simply boarding an aircraft.

President Biden's rapidly deteriorating condition is clearly good news for America's adversaries, from Beijing to Moscow, Pyongyang and Tehran, given that Biden's deputy, Vice President Kamala Harris, is viewed as an even less effective leader than her boss. But the Chinese, Russians, North Koreans and Iranians relish even more the weak-kneed policies the Biden administration advances on the world stage.

This is a feeble presidency at every level, enveloped in woke left-wing ideology while pursuing short-sighted policies of appeasement towards some of the most wicked regimes on Earth. From kowtowing to the Chinese Communist Party to seeking to revive the disastrous Iran nuclear deal, the Biden White House is actively undermining the USA's superpower status.

The Biden presidency represents American retreat, decline and despair, headed by a president regarded by the enemies of the free world as a soft and easy opponent.

The reports out of the White House is he is yelling at aides for not reason, classic angry dementia.

A recent survey found that 67% of Americans, including 48% of Democrats, think that Biden is too old for another term, and only 35% believe that Vice President Kamala Harris would be ready to step in as president.

And a new Quinnipiac Poll finds nearly half the voters willing to consider a third party candidate:

I will believe it when those people actually vote for a third party candidate in 2024.

I went through this in 2016 with Gary Johnson. People will say anything up until the time comes to cast their ballot. Then it will be back to the lesser of two evils; and not being able to let the other side win.

The fact that there isn't even a viable third party candidate available makes it that much easier for people to say they are open to it. It is a different matter once those candidate(s) announce and actually have to try and garner any attention.

Maybe if Manchin announces he is running he can play spoiler like Ross Perot did for the incumbent. That is assuming Manchin is even serious about running; and doesn't decide to take an independent at large expert analyst job for the cable networks.

Biden seems to have two mortal enemies: A teleprompter and a staircase.

Well, the staircase issue is (almost) fixed. He still trips up the short one, but now that his handlers make him wear sneakers and other rubber-soled shoes, those hazards may lessen.

As far as the teleprompter is concerned: Maybe he needs new contacts or his handlers should increase the font size? His ever-present note cards don't seem to help. Then again, none of those  will help elderly people like Joe, who has been in obvious cognitive decline for several years.

I recommend they use an ambulance team and a stretcher to transport him.

This is a good article about Sundown Syndrome. Joe Biden exhibits many of the symptoms.
