You're lucky to be close to a beach. I haven't been near a beach for at least 20 years.

Yes I am lucky..one of the reasons 90% of us Aussies cling to the coast line to be near the sea..

I could never live inland..

I found a 1 gallon bowl at a local thrift store for $5 and decided to set it up for some shrimp.

Here they are pretty well always served in their shells and it's up to the person dining to shell them and tear off the heads and limbs.

Same here unless it's at a dinner etc where it is done for you..

Nothing better getting a kilo of prawns and sitting down at the beach and eating them as you peel them..

Morning...just took this at the back door....My morning ritual is feeding the Maggies (Magpies)...they roll up for mince and they are extremely intelligent and brilliant warblers..

They have been rolling up for generations now and they never swoop me but they do at nesting time to other people..plus the memorise you as well..

Hi shona, yes we get tornados in Florida usually they follow a hurricane onto land.

Hmmm just what you need..so you may dodge a hurricane then get cleaned up by a tornado? Pass..

The area of Florida I live in rarely gets hurricanes, and if one gets this far inland it's mostly just rain little if any destruction involved.

They look wonderful.  I love tomatoes, eat them almost every day.  I think I inherited that from my father - he would eat a tomato like we eat an apple.

They are the best tomatoes I have ever had..no idea what variety as they were self sown at a friend's property 100 kms away...they all started popping up at her front gate..

She gave me 4 plants I gave two away just as well..the plants grew 7 foot high and went over the neighbours fence.. thought they must have been mutant..

Reminded me of a film title..attack of the killer tomatoes...

sounds like Some kind of volunteer cherry tomatoes.  You don't know what you will get with volunteers but sometimes get a really good plant
