BOYCOTT - Americans Should Use the Power of Boycott

Boycott manufacturers and Retailers and all others that rely on income from the public who donate to Lawmakers who do NOT support convicting Donald Trump, a conviction preventing him from ever taking office again.  As well, refuse to reelect Lawmakers who do not support convicting Trump.

There is no weapon so powerful as the dollar when it is necessary to convince a company or individual to do the right thing.  But the threat of boycott must clearly be made BEFORE Trump's trial, so that the Lawmakers will know that their funding may be vastly reduced if they continue to tear the Republican Party apart by not shedding itself of its support of the worst POTUS that ever served, and hopefully Lawmakers will never again give the ability to do so much damage to the nation again.  Many who have funded Republican Lawmakers have already indicated that they will end their donations to those who have steadfastly supported Trump.

Republican Lawmakers have voiced concern that they endanger their lives and the lives of their family if they vote to convict Trump.  However, if the Republican Lawmakers would stand their ground and universally vote to convict, they would not only maintain thier personal integrity but by standing united discourage repercussion.

I would like to point out that I think it is very important for Trump to be convicted for two reasons.  The first is to prevent him from becoming POTUS in the future, and the second is a matter of accountability - if he is allowed to get away with what he did, then it becomes a precedent which can become an argument for defending a future POTUS who does the same thing. No person, even the POTUS, is above the law, especially a POTUS who championed Law and Order.

I've been quietly boycotting Rush Limbaugh's advertisers for 20 years now.  In order to do this you need a list of these lawmakers and their donors.  Otherwise it's too much work and you won't get enough participation to make it worth while.

I’m the same way with Chick Fil-A.  I’m proud to say that I’ve never eaten their food, because they are a bigoted organization that made the idiotic decision to inject right wing politics into their brand.  When you can get a chicken sandwich at nearly any restaurant that exists, why buy one from a homophobic bigot?  Funny thing is I’m not even gay, but my step son and his husband eat that shit all the time.

I've never been to chick fil-a either, or hobby lobby for the same reasons.  I once had a chick fil-a sandwich at a football game.  A guy in a cow suit was giving them away.  It wasn't anything special.

It may never turn out to be worthwhile (i.e. to have any real effect), but it's a matter of maintaining your own personal principles and integrity, and you do that.
