Three Psychiatry Professors Beg Obama To Make Trump Undergo A Full Psychiatric Evaluation

Three Psychiatry Professors Beg Obama To Make Trump Undergo A Full Psychiatric Evaluation

Is Donald Trump clinically mentally ill? That is a question many of us have asked throughout this election season. Well, apparently some legitimate psychiatry professionals have similar concerns and have put those concerns into a formal request to the White House.

Here is the letter that was sent to President Obama on November 29, 2016:

President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

November 29, 2016

Dear President Obama,

We are writing to express our grave concern regarding the mental stability of our President-Elect. Professional standards do not permit us to venture a diagnosis for a public figure whom we have not evaluated personally. Nevertheless, his widely reported symptoms of mental instability — including grandiosity, impulsivity, hypersensitivity to slights or criticism, and an apparent inability to distinguish between fantasy and reality — lead us to question his fitness for the immense responsibilities of the office. We strongly recommend that, in preparation for assuming these responsibilities, he receive a full medical and neuropsychiatric evaluation by an impartial team of investigators.

Sincerely,

Judith Herman, M.D.
Professor of Psychiatry
Harvard Medical School

Nanette Gartrell, M.D.
Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry
University of California, San Francisco (1988-2011)
Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School (1983-87)

Dee Mosbacher, M.D., Ph.D.
Assistant Clinical Professor
Department of Community Health Systems
University of California, San Francisco (2005-2013)

These are not just any psychiatrists . They have the education and experience to make this request. Whether the President will do anything with it, who knows, but this request seems warranted considering all that is at stake. After all, this is a man who tweets about SNL, reviews of his restaurant and airplanes but hasn't tweeted once about Aleppo or hate crimes since his election.

President Obama, your move.

The letter ends "President Obama, your move" except there is no move. The letter is purely political because these loons know that Obama cannot force anyone to undergo a psychiatric examination.

Second, Gatrell and Mosbacher are two lesbians who married each other. They think their gender identity disorder is normal and that being gay is an immutable characteristic like race rather than a fabricated identity to protect and promote their particular perverse sexual behavior. If the president has the power to force a psychiatric examination on people (which he does not), then maybe Trump should force one on them.

Third, the letter says that they cannot diagnose Trump without examining him personally and then proceed to slander him with their preliminary diagnosis that he is mentally unbalanced. I hope they consulted an attorney before they wrote this.

The problem with all of your objections to this article is that everyone with half a brain knows that Trump has a personality disorder.

And he still beat Hillary, disorder and all. Hillary barely beat Bernie and she had to cheat to do it. This is all the fault of the Hillary supporters who gave us a Hobson's choice.

Of course you knew that Trump has an IQ of over 160 and Billary/Killary's is only 130.  In fact, she even lied about being a member of MENSA, which she finally denied after MENSA called her on it.

How would you know what either of their IQ's are?

Unless you have test results.

But you somehow know Trump has a personality disorder... Can you at least try to be logically consistent?

Someone claimed that Trump's IQ is 156 based on the fact that he is a billionaire. For real.

I don't care if every psychiatric professor in the country signs this letter, Obama can't force Trump to have a full psychiatric evaluation.  No one can.  Not even his own family.

And then, the courts would hold a competency hearing.  I assume Mr. Trump knows his own name and what day of the week it is...  Which is exactly what they asked of my father-in-law, who was nuttier than a June Bug.  He would wake up in the middle of a thunderstorm, and think he was in Munich, during the war, and being bombed...  It was horrible!

Note:  He fought in the Pacific in WWII...

Not that the president has that type of authority at their disposal , but lets say they did. What most likely would happen is nothing , lets say something did happen and the incoming POTUS was found unfit medically, since the electoral college has already met  and voted, the job would then go to the Vice president, by rules of succession since the VP is now legally the incoming VP elect even before taking the oath of office.

But that's all pipe dream and smoke screen since the POTUS doesn't have the legal nor constitutional authority to do what is requested.

Just more evidence of blatant hypocrisy. When Trump refused to say that he would accept the outcome of the election if he loses, democrats said he was irresponsibly promoting instability and impeding a smooth transition to power. But when they lose, it's perfectly fine to throw a public tantrum, march in the streets, burn shit up, call upon the electors to revolt, and now declare him clinically unfit to govern.
